I sing in a choir and this routine is excellent prep for having to stand and sing for long concerts!

hi Jessica, you're so beautiful and the best at teaching pilates. I find with a lot of workouts I get bored in the first few minutes but I can do multiple of yours with ease becayse you teach correctly, are non judgemental, non weight loss focused, are concise and logical. thank you for making working out feel so good and safe!

I’ve been doing this only for three days now, and I’ve noticed a remarkable difference. I’m an office worker and have a historically janky neck and right shoulder… I haven’t been able to crack the code but I think you might have figured it out for me. I’m pretty certain I will keep it up most days because it’s a short little routine, and because I feel it’s actually getting results. Thank you!!

Thank you, Jessica! Great video! You said lower down one vertebrae at a time but it should be lower one vertebra at a time because vertebrae is plural & vertebra is singular. I hope you find that helpful because I appreciate the content that you are generously sharing!

Yes that bothers me every time but I’m just a grammar nazi according to my husband. Jessica is so nice to look at and her routines are so wonderful.

@@judysykes3656 Thank you, Judy, for confirming the correctness of the use of vertebra versus vertebrae but please do not use the word nazi in this context. It is very offensive to compare the horrific cruelty of the nazis to grammar. Thank you, in advance, for your understanding.

I had to stop after that first round of arm pulses! I'm looking forward to coming back to this video repeatedly. I have seen a physio who gave similar exercises but extremely easy versions since the muscles were so weak. Seeing someone actually doing the exercise is so much easier than going off memory or a sheet of paper! The exercise at 6:00 felt so good on the upper back

Thanks for this Jessica. I love your clear and encouraging teaching style. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a 'no-flexion' posture focused video? There are a number of exercises in this one that I need to avoid or modify due to osteporosis (expecially the roll-down and roll-up). Also, can you please confirm whether the rotation exercise (at 5:10-6:10) is safe for osteoporosis? I have heard different opinions on twisting (without flexion). Thanks. (I regularly return to the osteoporosis videos you have made, but would love to see a couple more🙂).

Hi, Jessica amazing videos. I have a bad posture (slouchy). And doing pilates makes my upper back hurt or I feel discomfort. Is that part of the process?
