@hednersgame911 I think it depends on body chemistry. When I ran track in high school and junior college the "vomiters" were usually athletes who already vomited in previous practices whereas I never had a workout that made me feel ill even though I was a 400/800/miler (a not very good one).

Women biologically hold more body fat. Men's testosterone lets them cut to very low body fat. Women just can't get under 10% due to hormones. These girls look healthier because they have more fat. The guys are ultra competitive and have cut as much fat as they can safely cut. Looks as some professional distance running women who are illegally using hormone blockers and they look more like the men.

Well you don’t automatically get that good and run fast, you have to progress there. Start off with a very short 1 mile run and go a pace that’s comfortable for you that you can maintain without stopping and build up your mileage from there.

Not ideal how? It's much softer on the joints than pavement, and can even help to strengthen a lot of supporting muscles that don't get worked when you run on flat paved surfaces. It slows you down a bit, but if everyone's running on the grass, then everyone's slower, so it hardly messes anything up.

Why do this workout? Better would be 3k or 5k time trial/ tempo. There is no stopping for 4 mins, or 3 mins, or 2.5 mins in a race as you do in this dumb workout.

We usually have tap out Tuesday’s instead of workout Wednesday’s and the name comes from the workout being so hard you want to tap out and quit but Tuesday’s are literally the only days you are not allowed to quit xc. Like Tuesday’s are the only times I have cried while running

Hi Grace, I'm assuming they're distance runners...generally very skinny up top. Sprinters on the other hand have great physiques.
