Fantastic trip report. I fly the EK162 for the first time in a few weeks and this was the exact insight I have been looking for. Liked and subscribed!

10:36 I always wonder how places like Kingston upon Hull appear on IFE Maps instead of the likes of the big cities like Leeds, York, Hull, Bradford etc that are all nearby.
@aviationtripreports8 күн бұрын
An interesting point - not sure how the places that appear on the map are chosen.

Previously emirates used to fly from t2 now why is it t1?

I'm not sure - a good question.

The afternoon flight EK162 departs from terminal 1. The evening flight EK164 departs from terminal 2

Great video, plenty of information too. Good timing as I'm taking the night time flight in 2 weeks with a quick stop and connect to Sydney. Any problems finding your connection as its in a different terminal?
@aviationtripreports7 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and for your comment! The DUB-DXB flight arrived at Terminal 3, Concourse A, in Dubai, and the DXB-PER and DXB-SYD flights departed from the same concourse in the same terminal - so it was a very quick connection, with no need to transfer between terminals. Enjoy your trip!

Just a heads up when connecting in Dubai you have to go through security again which can be busy and quite hectic
@aviationtripreports4 күн бұрын
That's true - it was very quick when I went through luckily; the lines moved quickly.
@chrisbyrne73994 күн бұрын
@@julesgee4882 Bad news that. It's a short time frame between connecting flights as it is. Then there's the current situation between Iran and Israel which is leading to delays.

Impressive but what are the departure and arrival times ?
@aviationtripreports8 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching! What times do you mean? Takeoff and landing times are in the video.

Dublin is capital of Ireland

That is correct.

The Republic of Ireland or Ireland are both correct descriptions of the country. Six of the Northern counties are part of the United Kingdom and not part of the Republic of Ireland. Very good trip report.

I would not call this Airline world class travel this route often all staff on Emirates not very freindly some of their aircraft old and tatty Fly with BA now
@aviationtripreports2 күн бұрын
On this particular flight that I took, I found it to be excellent, with a new-ish, well-maintained and clean aircraft. The cabin crew were quite friendly also.

On this route they always fly very old plane and I have pathetic experience with them!!
@aviationtripreports17 сағат бұрын
The aircraft I flew on is only just over 8 years old, so not too old. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience - I found it to be exemplary.
