I've teased you long enough with the occasional peek of this thing lurking at the back of my garage, today it's time to review the monster German tier 9 tank with the tier 10 armour.

I love the E-75, it's my favorite tank in the game by a long shot. If you know how to handle it, this tank will never let you down. You might as well forget about the E-100, it's rubbish compared to the E-75.

e100 is great tank lol even stronger shit than e75 but still I get e100 hard to play idk why but I always played germans as brawlers so I am good with e100 aswell as with e75 my another great tank is tiger 2 its just a animall of a tank it just dont want to die

RTW Iceorb I disagree, the E100 pales in comparison to the E75. The E100 is slower, has a much larger profile, has 3 massive weakspots from the front ( the lower glacis, the bar ontop of the turret and the turret face itself) So yeh. Compared to the E75 it's a step backwards. The E75 has better turret armor, Is far more mobile, and has fewer weakspots.

V Hardestadt I agree that e 100 has weak spots but in face to face e 100 is a tank that will get to your face and derp yoou in it my opinoin is that all germans has lower playte exposed so does the e 75 but angle it and youl bounce nice amount of shots e 100 is like a meat ball you just shoot him but its hardlly gonna do any dmg turret front yea weak but turn it a bit on side and it will bounce

Razvan Gabor I realize this is 6 months old when I reply... why would they spam gold ammo. t49 can with the m1a1 can pen anything it gets matched against. on a side note I looked at the new t67 gun and it is even better. nasty nasty. have not tried the new 67 yet though

Dimitry Maksakov Yeah unfortunately no more 1200HP engine ....Wargaming is making stupid choices indeed. The engine of the E75 (Maybach HL234) was successfully set to 1000 HorsePower by German Engineers in the late War. So Wargaming had to make the engine have 1000 HP at least and not just 900 HP. What a stupid nerf. After the war the French captured and took that prototype engine and the "Saurer engine" which was also produced by german engineers. Later on they used these engines in their AMX50 Tank which had different models and variants...

I always believed arty was weak and useless and didn't knew why jingles always complainded about arty hammering him,until i got to tier 6 when i was in awsome positions to do tons of damage,but then arty wrecked my tanks again and again. That's the tradeoff. At a certain angle your lower glacis becomes an autobounce zone, but your sides which have your weakest armour, become a very attractive target. At 30 degrees your sides can be penetrated by tier 10 guns, tier 9 guns will still have problems. KV-5 guns can forget it. ;)

Thank you Jingles. Since watching this video I have played a lot better in my E75. Took it out in the first battle in it after and did amazing. Playing it just like you said worked for me. No matter how old something is it can still be relevant. Keep all the videos coming.

If you'd said E-50 rather than E-75 I'd have said yes in a heartbeat. With the slowish speed and that frontal transmission I'd recommend Preventative Maintenance or Offroad Driving before going anywhere near Controlled Impact on this thing.

Great point about unlocking your stuff on lower tier tanks. I often find myself checking to see what else the gear can be used on and what tree I'm going down if the tree splits. If it's something a tank further down the line can use, I unlock it. If it's something that is only used for that tank and nothing else, or for something I could care less about, it depends on how much I like the tank vs the xp cost to unlock. It's a lot easier to unlock that stuff at the lower levels.

Yesterday i had a game in my E-75, tier 10 game, we lost, i was the last survivor, got 4 kills and 9130 potential damage received. What a fantastic tank. :)

A gun with 195 penetration will get through an un-angled E-75 LFP 50% of the time. In 8.0 that rises to a gun with 209mm penetration. Angle it at 45% and it'll bounce all tier 10 tank guns.

I'm not convinced it does. The unangled frontal armour on the IS-4 can penetrated 50% of the time with a 218 pen gun. Same shot at the E-75 needs a gun with 248pen. LFP is the same on both, but the IS-4's is a smaller target. Angling the UFP makes it even harder to pen the E-75, but angling the IS-4 just makes it easier to penetrate the cheek facing you. A 30 degree angle on the E-75 does make it easier for tier 10 guns to penetrate your side armour, though. The IS-4 has better luck there.

I have a friend who always prioritises getting the next tank first.. What a shock he got when he got the E-75.. He was driving around in a tank about as mobile as a T95 with less armor + bad gun. I beat him in a head to head battle in an ISU, that's how easy it was to kill him. I keep telling him, always research everything before you move on, but nope, he got his E-100 yesterday and was so pleased with himself that he went out on a platoon with him and his 4 shots went into the mantle of an E5.

the best compliment I ever got was while in the E-75. on Lakeville, I went west, in the valley and I stopped and destroyed their entire advance (6 or 7 of the top tanks) supported by only a T-32 and an arty. when they were killed, our arty wrote in the teams chat: "our E-75 just ate your team!" then, I went forward and took out their arty. but, to be honest, I didn't really like E-75: I had great stats in it, but the low pen gun when combined with bad RNG sometimes gave me painfull games.

Oh yeah, definitely. It's not totally useless in randoms, just less so. Knowing that the IS-7 you're facing has a damaged ammo rack can be invaluable.

It just depends what you want to play. The E-100 Heavy line ends with two great brawling tanks.. the E-75 and and E-100. The mediums are completely different - very fast, agile, long range snipers and close range rammers.

The lower hull of the E-75 is 130 mm at 60 degrees. 130 mm divided by cos 60 is 260 mm, that's how thick it is to HE/HEAT. Divided by cos 56 it is 232 mm, which is how effective it ends up after factoring in AP normalization. Against APCR it is 226 mm effective. So considering that in the best of circumstances, which is a range of under 100 m and with absolutely no side angle on the E-75, the armour is effectively thicker than the average penetration of those guns.

In the Westfield clip? Yeah I never begrudge a Lowe driver who would rather support with sniper fire than go brawling, it's what the tank's best for. Of course you could argue that in the time it takes him to get over there he could have given me sniper fire from the hill on my immediate right and I might not have died to artillery after taking out that KV4 and KV-5, and then won the match. But... could have, would have, should have.... didn't. ;)

i'm not Jingles but, I would recommend the Heavy line. To me, my 3601 played very similar to a heavy. It used the 88, it had good armor, it was reasonably mobile, and it was a formidable opponent. The mediums are quick but they lack armor. I unlocked the Tiger and I LOVE it. I love all the Tier 7 heavies I have and the Tiger II, E-75, and E-100 are even better.

it should be said that unlocking the best engine on the e-75 also unlocks the best engine on the e-50. Something I didn't know till it happened and made me very happy as it saved me a 50k xp grind in my e-50.

Don't own an e75 yet, but my T110e5 can't even pen the front of this thing most of the time. It has some great sloping and a very strong gun. Looks like a lot of fun to play.

Well.. yeah, I don't own a Maus so hard to say, really. The E-100 can be very frustrating when that 150mm misses or just flat out fails to penetrate, I imagine the Maus gets the same thing with that E-75 gun on a tier 10 heavy.

Great Video. as for the engine, it may have been mentioned in other comments, but if someone has ground all the way up the German medium tree, top engine is the same as in the E 50, so as soon as you research the E 75 you're good to go...with a feebler gun, but yes, mobility is assured.

thats the reason why you have to get the clutch braking for your driver once he reaches 100%. i had the same issue of poor traverse with the Tiger and the Tiger II.

For clan wars it's very valuable you can feedback loads of information, ammo racked tanks so your team know when to expose themself.

Also, one more thing, just FYI, the lower glacis of any E-seires tank can't be penned by anything lower than ~195 pen :)

I had a match on Widepark in which myself and one other player, both in E-75's, got 8 and 7 kills respectively. Our team was made of window lickers and left us two to hold off the tide. By the end we were both on the enemy cap when I made the last kill. One IS-8 driver wished he had went down the German line instead. Just goes to show how good the E-75 is when properly driven. Sucks that I didn't get a replay of it. :(

To be honest if I had been in my Lowe I would have done the exact same as that Lowe driver. I never feel comfortable fighting on top of the hill on that map, particularly in something as slow and weakly armoured as a Lowe. If you can get over to the other hill you can provide some really good supporting fire for advancing mediums and lights that the enemy mediums are unlikely to be able to match.

That entirely depends on the tank and the match. I have burned through an entire full load of ammo on the type 59 on several occasions. It's easy to do on the new British TD's as well, at least on the lower tier ones with the spitball guns, since I got bored of them once I hit the AT 8.

If he's dumb enough to face you straight on, shoot his lower glacis and pray for engine fires. In close combat, shoot his commanders hatch. In all other circumstances try to get around his sides and aim just under his turret for an ammo rack hit.

The eagle eye seems quite useful for brawling type tanks, so you can easily see if something like engine, turret, ammo rack or relevant crew has been hurt, so you know if you can circle or outgun them easily. Though that's about it, I don't think any other type of tank would find it terribly useful.

E-75 is the Best Tier 9 or even nicer or harder than the Tier 10 to fenitrate!. Last time I had 25 hits from the 7 Tanks of tier 8, 9 & 10 All the shot were bouncing! and after that I destroyed 5 of them!.. thnx mate!!

Try it out on 8.0 I like the ST1 ALOT. If you get into a hull down position, you and your tier 10 gun will decimate everything. The hull armor really isn't bad, and people for whatever reason have the tendency to aim for your turret, so yeah, it kicks ass and I like it better than the IS-4M

if you use the r button one time to slowly go forward you wont lose the aim as mutch as you do when you use the "w" button and go full speed like at 42:00 when you are going around the corner to shot the arty.

The Maus has the same gun has the Ferdinand, which is the tier 8 king. The tank would be much funner with the Jagdtiger 12.8's stats, but whatever, the Maus is mainly a moving bunker. The E100 needs a real buff. Screw the HP buff, all it needs is things that really boost its survivability. Not 200 additional hitpoints.

If I'm too slow to make a difference or low tier, I usually force the cap. I encourage teamwork, but no need to force those last enemies to repair their stuff more

I was penned by an IS once in my E-75 and even by a tier VI ARL, you don't know what my face looked like after that hit. My main problem with German tanks is they are too vulnerable to lower glacis hits. They deal damage, can damage/break the engine, set your tank on fire and can kill your driver/radio operator. It's quite common to be set on fire twice a game (Löwe anyone?). The advantage of having the transmission in the front is unfortunately no part of WoT. And the rediculous RoF ...

I use it because it increases my player feedback. If I have a 0 dmg pen I feel much better knowing I ammo rack'd him or killed his driver. Plus as a medium knowing his turret ring is damaged gives me the giggles like I'm 5 again.

I think, that E75 suffered a lot by gold ammo for credits. A lot of tiers 8 are automatically loading gold rounds, because they know, that E75 is "rock hard".

Basically he said it in the video. This is such a great tank (and everybody knows that). Once spotted it´s immediately priority target for arty and since it´s frontline tank with hight silhouette you get spotted fast. As for the damage of tier 6 arty - Russian arties have avg damage of 1850 if i am correct - so even half of that is pretty painfull for this tank. GWP and M12 does 1250 - again even half is not good. Additionally - good arty player will aim at sides and do more damage.

actually, im jealous of you, jingles.you have such a good computer. my laptop only has 2.5 gb of ram, an old processor and an outdated video card which only enables me to choose arty because the birds-eye view increase my fps. when i drive a tank horizontally, my fps drops to 5-7. i have the urge to play the heavies, meds, lights and tds, but i cant aim the gun properly because of the fps. btw, i use tier 4 'pz. sfl. ivb.' now.

I have my E-75 for quite a while now (more than 600 battles with that bad boy) and I can confirm that without best engine its sluggish as hell. But IMHO the best gun is more invaluable. Tiger 2 best gun is simply not enough for this tank. E-75 is great brawler (with right crew skills its a killer). But it can snipe quite well also.
