Welcome to Ren. He is genuinely one of the most talented people out there right now. He can sing (in several octaves), he can play multiple instruments well (without formal training), he can rap and he produces his own.. everything. He has Lyme disease, but was misdiagnosed (and counteractively medicated) for 9 years before they got it right. This did insane amounts of damage to his body and caused brain bleeding and autoimmunity issues. Hi Ren was his first viral hit. Also, he doesn't copyright strike - he loves reactors. In an interview Ren said that "Hi Ren" was a one take, the third take they did. They didn't have permission to be in the basement they were in, and they had 4 cameras and two mics. As they were finishing the second take, the building manager walked in and asked them to leave. They begged for another 30 minutes and that was the take they used. However, the very end part when he turns from putting down the guitar and starts talking is a separate take. They were allowed to go back when the building manager helped them submit the correct paperwork. Post production was them just taking footage from the various cameras they had set up to auto record. He's done quite a few single takes, both storytelling and singing solo / duo. Earlier this year he won a couple of international music awards for best song video for Money Game III which was two takes. His Money Game 1 took 186 takes before they got the one they liked :)

His cinematographer is a master - Samuel Perry -Falvey is amazing as is the rest of his team. He made some impressive mates along the way and they are becoming better with every single video.
