nice job and very generous of you...one question , I have quite a bit of experience with the ongoing cracks in the frames chinese quads and merely cleaning and rewelding cracks especilly because the cracks are at hi stress points never lasts unless you also add some reinforcement the quad's frame will just recrack again and again??
@PraskaBoysGarage
@PraskaBoysGarage 4 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right. Adding gussets for reinforcement is probably the best thing you can do to assure it doesn't happen again. In my experience with these chinese atvs is they will find a way to crack regardless of the extra support. I've never had one of my welding points break its always found a new spot!

Unbelievably thoughtful and generous of you to not only rebuild this fire ATV and give it back for free, but also to drive round trip 6 hours for delivery. 25 hours labor (seems awfully low) @ $50/ hour would put labor @ $1250 bucks, plus whatever you spent in parts, plus other parts ATV for $50. You rarely if ever see anyone do that.

I used Klean-Strip Aerosol to strip the paint and you can purchase from a local home store like Home Depot. Here is a link: www.homedepot.com/p/Klean-Strip-16-oz-Premium-Stripper-Aerosol-CA-Formula-EKPS302SC/311799645

george ling Thank you very much! Good eye by the way! That’s actually a 90cc 2 stroke his dad bought to try and get running since this one started on fire. That little ATV might make an appearance on the channel some day! 😉

Thank You! I purchase the majority of my parts from 3 places. 1) VMC Chinese Parts 2) eBay 3) Amazon. Also check VMC first they have a huge inventory and list all the specs right in the description!

Can anyone tell me exactly what wires he’s touching together to bypass the brake safety? Is it the ones directly from the brake lever? Or the ones on the harness itself?

These specific plastics are hydro dipped so the paint is simply removed with a paint stripper. I used Klean-Strip Aerosol that you can purchase from a local home store like Home Depot. Here is a link: www.homedepot.com/p/Klean-Strip-16-oz-Premium-Stripper-Aerosol-CA-Formula-EKPS302SC/311799645

That is the #1 most asked question on my channel! I originally purchased the stand off eBay back in 2018, however the seller is hit and miss when they are listed. So I've decided to start working on manufacturing my own! Might be a little bit but once I'm ready I will be making a video for the launch!

My engine stand is my #1 comment across the channel! I came across the stand on eBay back in January 2018. The seller was bomcbe2kz7 If I remember correctly, I paid about $110 with shipping. It has 3 mounting plates for different types of small engines. Definitely money well spent for my shop!

The best quality paint to get that holds up well is from Eastwood. It's called 2K aerosol paint that has a hardener so it is a more durable paint that looks great. Better than your standard spray cans.

Hey thank you very much! This is my #1 question for sure! I actually had a CNC company laser cut out all the metal to start making and selling my own. I will be selling the kits on my website either as a DIY kit or a completely assembled and power coated. Should have everything ready soon and will post updates on the channel.

I use that truck bed paint a lot on all my frames use it on my Skidoo rails Ski-Doo skis I paint everything with that stuff even did my patio set a few years back and it still looks good and it holds up well over time and so much harder to chip than paint but if you want that smooth shiny look you'll never get it with this stuff.
