"Don't be gentle, it's a rental" and "Clean it thorough, it's just borrowed" have been imprinted in my head at this point. I also once folded my neighbours bike on a nearby tree 10ish years ago and avoid riding something that isn't mine ever since... :D

Since it's the 2022 model of the company's sales rep's bike, you're honor bound to exercise it thoroughly. I'd want to know if the gear I rep is weak somehow *before* it hurts a customer. I don't mean smash their bike but smash *with* it. :-) Full send, no less is an insult and likely why they wanted you to give it a nice "spin".

They're honestly just a ridiculous and not good at anything yet strangely aggressive bird. Because they're kind of funny every time I encounter one I call it a mountain chicken
@russellzauner2 жыл бұрын
@@brianlanglois9597 they taste like free range chicken. We bow hunt but keep a 22/410 handy for snacks like rabbits/grouse when we're out (they're great with chanterelle mushrooms, which also are in bloom everywhere that grouse are during first bow hunt). Most of the rest isn't worth eating unless you're literally starving; honestly wild rabbits really aren't worth it, I've seen frogs that have more meat on em. I need to look up the grouse chase thing because if they see us first they run like hell - somehow animals get a sense of when they're about to get eaten and take affront with it. The problem is that he could have easily have encountered a bear or whatever large cats are in their area (there's like 30 types of bobcats here) as opposed to a grouse. It's always a good thing to gently distance from wildlife if possible. There also might be more around. So tiptoe away then run like hell.
@CalgaryDynastar2 жыл бұрын
Grouse are plentiful at moose, I’ve only ever had one follow me once, not aggressive or anything just came along for a walk 😅 Typically they are ‘scary’ because they wait until you’re basically on top of them to move from brush and scare the shit out of you.

Nicely ridden, as usual. As to the trail, yeah, that's way above my skills (jumps, skinnies I'd prob try), but if I had them, once the bike was in good working order, especially brakes and geo wasn't too different to what I'm accustomed to, sure. The Grouse LMAO, you city boys :-D Don't go down that road Dave, enough stuff in life is already made too easy so we basically don't have to do anything for what we want. Also, it will seriously effect your technical riding abilities as your fitness will suffer.
@hicapasforlifeyeet43913 жыл бұрын
Actually, as far as fitness goes you aren’t losing much. With the ebike, you end up traveling farther
@lynxg46413 жыл бұрын
That's what they all say, but the 20%> weight gain I'm seeing across the board on guys who have gotten them to replace their regular bikes, tells me differently.
