It's really cool to see people growing their own food. It would be great if more people acquired this habit. In addition to improving our health by consuming healthier foods, we contribute to preserving our planet by reducing the use of pesticides. Congratulations on sharing your knowledge and experience with us.

I enjoy working in the soil and watching things grow. It’s a joy and the big pay off all the food I grow is organic, I know the food has had no pesticides and no modification. I also feed the pollinators by planting flowers in with vegetables. I appreciate your kind comments .

My grandmother grew up in the countryside of the state of Virgi,. She and my great-grandmother used to make pig feet in the oven. It's awesome to see how others on the other side of the globe in a different culture make them. And it's an honor to have you visit our channel, we can discuss more about our experiences in harvesting and building farms.

Good morning from Missouri. I enjoyed reading about your grandmothers. My grandmothers were very important in my life. One of my grandmothers also made pickled pigs feet. I must have tried it because I remember the sour tangy taste. I like hearing about others culture and ways of growing their food.

Happy Sunday to you! My daughter is a “ cheerleader” for my gardening. She’s a beekeeper on her farm and I try to look after bees by growing flowers among my vegetables. Your comments were inspiring to me and thank you for that. I will be having more videos up, and you let me know what you think. Welcome and I hope you’re back soon.🥰❤️

I think gardening helps us physically, mentally, and spiritually. I think I am going to make sweet potato fries for my dinner. I didn’t weigh them , I have them in my warm humid garage which helps the skins get firmer and the sugars get sweeter. Thanks for watching ❤️🥰

Welcome, I appreciate you saying hello. It was a much bigger harvest off of 3 slips than I would have guessed for sure. I know what you’re talking about, I have a big grow bag with vines everywhere and not a bloom but I see and can feel good sized sweet potatoes. I don’t know why that happens but it’s great that you get sweet potatoes anyway. I have two older videos from last year for 1. Canning sweet potatoes and making sweet potato pie. I wish I had your climate. Super video. I suppose you could try treating your soil with some manure or compost. Your sweet potatoes would grow just the same but would be much easier to remove from the soil and less likely to be damaged.

@@keilarsbraegrower1581 Thank you for your thoughtful comment. Our climate is good for growing most Summer crops, it does get hot quickly here causing early Spring crops to bolt. I have sweet potatoes in a grow bag with very loamy soil. We’ll see how that goes.😊

They certainly are big sweet potatoes. I don’t really have a reason about waiting til frost except we are in a very serious drought and I had to water daily sometimes twice to keep my garden going. Also our temperatures were 100 to 105 off and on this Summer. I felt it was time to dig them out. I see why yours are still in the ground. I hope you have a great harvest.
