Bob at Brute Speed is a legend, if you read any of the forums going back 20 plus years Bob at Brute speed is in all of them helping people and answering questions about Procharger systems. He helped me a ton with my builds and always pointed me in the right direction. He has never dropped the ball. Good on Procharger too 💯💯

I ran the Moroso 22163 in my bbc for years before upgrading to the Mororo Gerotor 22167. They make the best oil pumps in my book. It was awesome of procharger to stand up and do the right thing.

That’s really cool that they replaced a $6000 blower under warranty. That’s the way stuff SHOULD be handled but unfortunately rarely is anymore.

Prochargers make turbo's look reliable and affordable. Almost everybody breaks them, the NPK guys carry a few spares.

IMO; Let us say there is a 10:1 rpm ratio between the crank and the blower and there is gear drive or cog drive, if a tight torque converter drops engine rpm 1000 rpm at the 1-2 gearshift, the blower gets yanked down 10 000 rpm in a very short time. This is probably not ideal.

I would etch some alignment marks on that summit balancer before you install so you can tell if/when it starts to slip,I had one slip 30 degrees,I would not trust it

I’d tack weld the back. My buddy had the rod through the center break in his amazon throttle body and dropped both screws into the motor.

I think the big block is going to be more trouble than it’s worth the bullet that you have nowLight wait no prep capable of winning winning small block to the front thanks for the video john

Sorry but I disagree. With the additional CI and head greater head flow he will be able to make the same power at much lower boost levels which should be easier on parts. The BBC also has a larger cam base circle which is more stable than in a SBC. The only downside might be controlling the extra low end TQ on real sketchy NP events like Dig or Die.

Maybe it’s my OCD but I would not use that oil pump , I’m thinking it would have warped or something to that nature . The intense heat of that fire would be enough to not use it ..

@@TurboJohnRacing- So he is going to try to rebuild the shop similar to what is was? Has he considered a metal building? Seems that would be a lot less expensive.
