Yes that's true, and this is why the lower half should be printed and sold. The customer should be advised to source the slides themselves, and that said the bullets can be traced ballistics. These gang members are sloppy, they're hitting innocent people and not taking the time to plan and study their targets. Reconnaissance, places they frequent, travel patterns ect. These are Niggas, and they should be the targets. A proper screening of these people, needs to take place before allowing purchase...and state are to be labeled and a logo placed on the lower frame...( gets around numbers) A log should be kept also, of each customer and state of the customer (s). Niggas, shouldn't have any Gun.

Yeah he just talking about the bottom half literally the gun all together cost about freaking $420 to buy the bottom half with the components and the slide already put together then do you have to buy the jigs they cost like $29 if you don’t have the stuff to break off the tabs on the rails and the other tabs on the butt of the real of the gun you have to buy that as well because not a lot of people have the drano Tools and don’t even get me started if you make mistakes and buy the wrong parts that cost you have to buy the clips in the bullets LOL

FYI. "Ghost guns" are simply firearms without a serial number. All firearms sold nationally as well as in the state of RI have required a serial number for decades. There is no federal or state law barring someone from manufacturing their own firearm. Companies sell partially manufactured receivers (The portion of a gun that the ATF classifies as the firearm, while all other parts are just parts or accessories). A user can finish the manufacturering of the receiver and complete the weapon and be within federal laws. In 2020, RI mandated that anyone who manufacturers their own firearm must serialize and initialize the weapon. Serial numbers don't prevent crime, they just allow law enforcement to trace a firearm that was used in a crime back to its original owner. I'm willing to bet the vast majority of "Ghost guns being confiscated were manufactured before the 2020 law, as it did not grandfather in older weapons.

Most of popular handguns that are sold legally at shops/dealers are “plastic”. That’s nothing new. The only difference is that now, modern technology has enabled us to accomplish in your own home with a 3D printer what was previously limited to factories with heavy/large machinery.

I built my first one in Highschool and it ran flawlessly. I love P80s, but we cannot act like they aren’t practically responsible for the tick in illegal gun possession. Without them I wouldn’t be able to get a handgun (I’m under 21 not prohibited)
