Wrangler Wrancher Dress Jean (Sizing Info & Styling)

The Wrangler Wrancher Dress Jeans are by far one of my favorite pants to wear. I love these pants! I have them in about 10 different colors and wear them all the time. They're a great fit, have a lightly higher rise, and due to the cowboy boot cut of them almost feel like a very slight flare. They do run small though, so make sure you size up. I usually recommend sizing up 2 sizes in these! Any questions on them, just ask!

@@EricWertz I got them from Amazon, they seem to have some stock over here as got them the next day! They also have the cowboy cut jeans! It’s a god send because I used to have to order them from places like Sheplers and would have to pay import tax etc but with Amazon uk holding stock I don’t have to pay any of that! Not sure how long they will be stocking them though. Might order a few pairs of the cowboy cuts and wranchers in case!

Oh ok - yea I've heard of some people sizing up 3 or 4 sizes too. For me, sizing up 2 sizes works. They are a clean looking pant for sure! I love them. I don't think they're going to stretch though. I mean maybe if you wore them over and over again they might? But I have like almost every color and don't wear one pair all the time, so for me I've never noticed them stretching out. Wear them a full day and do some squats in them LOL and compare how they fit from the time you put them on until the end of the day to see if you notice a difference in the fit from wearing them!

Do you have to wash them a certain way to keep the crease in the pants or can you wash them normally

Honestly, I've only washed some of them a few times on delicate cycle and the crease stayed fine. Check with the brand though - I should've done that before I washed mine! But I try to only wash my pants if I wore them a bunch day after day, if they have a stain or smell dirty. If not, I don't even bother because the more you wash them I'm sure they'll start losing their crispness eventually!

Thank you! Yeah I usually recommend sizing up 2 sizes in the waist. That's usually the general consensus for most people and what works for me. You can always try getting 2 different waist sizes from Amazon so it's easy shipping and returns if you have Prime, just to figure out what size you need. Then you'll know for when you get more colors, because trust me you'll end up wanting more than one color! haha

LOL Well I'm glad sizing up 2 sizes in the waist worked for you - that's a good start! Did you try them on with boots or a different shoe? I tend to like pulling my pants up higher - the higher waist makes my legs appear longer! LOL People always think I'm a lot taller than I actually am because of the high waist. Mine might actually sit at my belly button too, but if you're not used to high waisted pants, I could see that feeling uncomfortable. But I love high waisted pants and hate low rise! Have you tried them in the same size waist but a shorter length? Maybe you just need to size down in the length if you dont like them sitting up so high on your waist. But again, I like how they look high rise on me!

when you say you normally wear a 31 do you mean a 31 jeans? Just trying to get a sense of whether you wear your jeans on your hip or at your waist. Have you measured your actual waist to see if the wrangers are true to size or if they actually run smaller?

Hey. No I never measured my waist but I ordered them in a size 31 (which I normally am in most pants) and I had to return them to get a size 33. Most people I mention this to, agree that they also needed to size up, but then there are like one or two people who said they didn't need to! That's why I recommend ordering from Amazon - I have Prime so I was able to just return them for free easily, until I found the size that fit best!

Wondering if you were to go sz 32 in length would it drag I have a similar build and height as you and was wondering if a longer length would be good or should I stick to 31?

Funny you should ask that! I actually just bought a size 32 length just to compare because I've been getting more questions like yours. I tried them on but didn't shoot content with them yet. So they definitely don't drag, but with the size 32 length there is more of a slight break in the pant leg at the bottom. I guess others who always say my pants need to be longer lol call it a "stack". That's honestly why I bought them, because I get so many comments saying "you need your pants to stack" well I don't like a stack or a break in the pants. I like my pants to fall perfectly at the boot without any bunching at the bottom, so that's why I go with a size 30 length. People always think I have long legs in my videos ha and I honestly think it's because it's how I choose to fit my pants to my body and the length I get that makes me look taller. So again back to your question - you can probably do either length, but for me personally I always usually go with a shorter length when I'm choosing between 2 sizes because I like them to fall perfectly at the boot. If you prefer or don't mind a little pant bunching at the bottom then you can probably go with the 32. Sorry for the long response, but this is a common question and comment I get on these pants. i definitely love these pants. I usually wear a size 31 (in levi) and i bought these in a 33 after watching this video. What do you think about just going up 1 size up instead of 2?

Same - I love these! How do they fit going up 2 sizes for you? It's funny you should ask, because I just got the port/maroon color wranchers and I noticed that they didn't fit as snug as my previous pairs so I'm wondering if Wrangler is working on trying to get the sizing more accurate. For me personally I would prefer them to fit a little looser rather than being too tight on my leg, but if they come out with another color maybe I will try sizing up only one size next time to see! I already have all of the other colors I think LOL so no need for me to get another pair now. I wish they would come out with even more colors.

I don’t really need a belt but if I want to keep them more high waisted instead of on my waist, then I would need a belt. @@EricWertz Came back with a result! so going just 1 size up is okay for people with little thighs, its a little snug but you don't need a belt! however, i think the OG sizing you mentioned (2 sizes) would give you a better fit.

I wear a 30x30 and they don’t fit my legs and they also don’t fit my waist so do I size up to 30x32

For me, I only size up 2 sizes in the waist. I stick with my usual length. The first number is the waist size, so you would need to try the 32x30 - size up 2 sizes in the waist. Unless you need them longer too, then you would size up in the second number, but if the length is good, just size up the first number, so again, try 32x30. Let me know how it goes!

Oh nice! What colors did you get? Yes I have always ironed mine but I don't have the need to iron them that often or too much. For the most post I don't wash my pants after one wear unless I was really doing something that would make them dirty, but usually it's just me going out shopping or out to dinner, so then I'll just hang them back up on the hanger. And when I'm ironing it's really just a few wrinkles here and there and the fold from them being on the hanger that I need to iron out. These pants are nice because they don't really wrinkle that much due to the fabric! So when I'm ironing them I kinda just do a quick pass over each leg making sure to avoid the natural crease :) Hope that helps!

so if I lay a pair of my size 33 waist Wranchers flat on the floor and measure from left to right right at the waist band it is 17" across. then if I go down to right below the zipper and measure flat from left to right across the front it is 19". Hope that helps! But for me I normally wear a size 31" pants but I just go up 2 sizes and get the Wranchers in a size 33 waist.

Hmmm, I'd say they are more mid. They are definitely not low rise and not high compared to some of my high rise pants from Phix. I'd definitely say more mid. I love the rise of them. They are the perfect pant and style for all different style outfits. I actually just shot a new reel video for them where I styled 6 different style outfits with them. I'll be posting that soon!
