I was the prime age for the Attitude era, being 13 in 1999. You HAD to watch Raw or Nitro on Monday night. It was mandatory schoolyard discussion back then, lol. I remember flipping back and forth between Raw or Nitro depending on the segment, or commercial break. Great memories.

What we're seeing is a bunch of Russo's old pitches still coming in to play because they were in the plans before he left, it's like current wwe under Hunter, McMahon left a huge chunk of creative equity and what we're seeing now is stuff Vkm already put in motion, just like Russo here though, his ideas are being tweaked by somebody else. Until the diamond has been distilled completely, we won't see the new people's ideas be more prevalent.

The Big Bang was supposed to come much later when WCW was sold off to Fusient Media, the company owned by Bischoff and Jason Hervey. There’s an old WCW Magazine scan circulating online with a May 2001 PPV date, because they were going to briefly stop airing Nitro before coming back to doing TV and PPV. Then AOL/Time Warner yanked the tv slot on TNT and Fusient had to scrap their bid, and the rest is history.
