What an absolute honour to be this weeks Jam Up Guy. Thanks so much Sir. For those asking in the comments, I did indeed inform Sensei Blackman about the Reliving The War series, how he is an icon and legend of the show, what the t-shirt was all about and that he needed to check it out. He laughed and said he'd check it out. If he does or not, that's a different story. I didn't go into too much detail as I thought when Ryan met the man for himself that that honour should go to the creator of the series. Of course Ryan didn't get to meet the legend himself which is a horrible shame but at least we know Sensei Blackman is aware of the show.

I attended this Raw. This Raw was taped the previous Tuesday along with the Raw taping there was also a taping of Sunday Night Heat before the Raw taping with some house show matches in between the tapings. Not much happened with the Sunday Night Heat tapings other than Jarret coming out and challenging DLo and PMS (Pretty Mean Sisters) breaking up. Shane McMahon got massive "asshole" chants, and the roof blew off the building when Austin's theme played. I was thinking "WTF is this?" when they played the "Unholy Union" theme. What they didn't show on TV with the "main event" was that the Rock and Billy Gunn fought their way to the back. The ring cleared out with the exception of Triple H, Undertaker, Big Show, and Austin. Triple H, Undertaker, and Big Show all took stunners and Austin made his way up the stage with his theme music playing and the crowd cheering. I was thinking about how this Raw ending felt too much like a Nitro ending, but I found out years later it was due to some backstage issues. Vince Russo was trying to push a Austin vs Jarret feud but Austin wanted no part of it (Austin did not want to work with Jarret at all stemming back from when Austin worked in Jarret's father's territory years previously. King of strange that Austin's real life girlfriend at the time was Jarret's manager). I guess the original plan was for Austin to be in a match against Jarret with Triple H interfering, but Austin said there was no way that he was going to work with Jarret. They then tried to change his opponent to Billy Gunn, but Austin felt that Gunn was not at his level. That's why they came up with the plan to have the Undertaker challenge Austin and to do this WWF Title match that didn't happen. I think at this point Eric Bischoff has only about a month left until he gets removed as head of WCW (he didn't get fired but was just told to go home).
@Speedyreedy12186 ай бұрын
