So we actually uploaded. I was conflicted over waiting till tomorrow and I decided, why not post it? I personally don't like uploading in the morning but that's just me. Anyways, this run is of mixed opinion. I thought Miz did some decent work but on the otherside, he wasn't treated like a big deal. It wasn't a good enough run where they're like, "maybe we should give him another run with the belt". What did you think of the Miz's title reign?

He is great superstar but he isn't wwe championship material There is more superstars deserves a wwe championship more than him in 2010 like wade barrett and christian and john morrison and cody rhodes Espacially wade barrett who should won it in survivor series or he should win money inthe bank 2010 instead of him

I think like most people, it took me awhile to realize start to appreciate the Miz. I’m glad his name will be in the history books as a Two Time WWE Champion, but simply put, he’s gonna be more remembered for his IC Title runs. If anyone deserves to beat Jericho’s record, it’s him.

Plus aren’t we already had enough of Cena vs Orton?

It's sad that despite being bad, it's still the best title reign compared to his second one this year before WrestleMania 37 that lasted 8 days. He truly deserved the WWE Championship after years of hard work but Vince McMahon decided to have him be a transitional champion, and that would have been fine if he won it in 2018 from AJ Styles and dropped it to Daniel Bryan in a double turn.

The best time IMO for him to win it was in 2016 right after he dropped the IC title, dude was red hot back then. The recent title reign was just to bring the prestige back into the MITB Briefcase and tbf he did a good job at it.

I feel The Miz definitely proved a lot considering the position he was in, I feel later on in the run is when he was starting to get the rhythm right promo & match wise. 2016 to 2018 was the perfect time to make him champion again, dude was having fantastic promo's & matches left and right but hey at least he got his moment again, even if it was a 8 days, he deserved it.

This was a better title reign than I thought in my opinion. The way Miz proved himself as a champion was really good. Sure there were alot of reliance on Alex, but if you think about just typical heel tactics, it's pretty good

I believe to this day that that was the original idea, because they setted up that when CM Punk was revealed as the leader of the New Nexus. But then, with the return of The Rock, a way to promote the WM 28 ME was needed, and The Miz was perfect for that. WWE didn't trust Miz as top heel, and this can be confirmed with Miz losing the championship right away after Mania and never being a main event ever again. Even when he won the Championship in 2020, it was just to make Bobby Lashley the champ the next week.

@@incognitoking9704 actually 2010 was the Nexus year. Wade Barrett deserved it more than Miz. Hence why cm was the next nexus leader. CM reached his "potential" in 09 with his feud with Jeff Hardy. I cant think of a time miz EVER deserved it. Just a lucky draw out of a hat. Lol. He's no Mr Perfect. NO Razor Ramon. Hell..Dolph Ziggler deserved it more than him. Im STILL trying to figure out who booked that clown to ever touch the title. His reign was just a footnote to Rock/Cena.. Period.

@@ophelius522 Miz deserves the WWE title in 2016-17 but in 2010 clearly he wasn't ready his promos is so annoying, the only thing he got the title bc many huge stars like HBK and Batista left, HHH and 'taker went full part time mode, Wade Barrett was underrated but Cena buried him before he could really start dominating with the Nexus after SummerSlam, Punk deserves it but I think he was punished for didn't take 'taker's advice to wear proper uniform as champion outside, which is weird and Cena never wear proper formal uniform outside when he was champion. Back to Miz, he wasn't gonna win in 2021, but bc they lack superstars to do the job, they let him win it for 8 days

U know in my opinion if they had booked the nexus right back then, Miz wouldn't be champion at that time. The Nexus would of won at Summerslam. Wade Barrett would of been wwe champion beating randy orton and John cena. Miz and Alex Riley would of been tag team champions. Miz would probably be wwe champion after wrestle mania 27. If they were going to make Miz as champion, they shouldn't of have him main vented wrestle mania. He could of lost it to cena and they could of done punk vs cena at mania that year. The same year that had that epic match from money in the bank.

The Miz first wwe championship regin was bad due to the fact that he was over looked and was treated like a big deal he basically still a mid carder holding the wwe championship. During his feud with John Cena had the worst build up to Wrestlemania more focus was on Cena and Rock Wrestlemania 27 was horrible and the main event didn't deliver at all if the miz was booked correctly his regin wouldn't been bad as it was.

The Miz kinda felt like a afterthought while being wwe champion like nothing good stands out from him being champion and id argue after he lost he was more interesting going towards 2012. All of his wins (apart from Morrison) involved interference and i know he was a heel champion but only one clean title defence is weak. Its kinda like Seth Rollins in 2015 and Chris Jericho in 2001/02. I just wish he was treated better but i also think he was in the wrong place at the wrong time

Whenever you start your title reign defending it against jerry lawler in 2010 then yeah it wasn’t gonna be good..They had Morrison, rhodes, rey, other ppl until they got to Cena and Orton..I guess they was going for a Flair vs Edge feel but come on..that was the nature boy vs rated r superstar in Edge own match TLC

The Miz should have won the WWE Title at Survivor Series which would have made more sense with Miz cashing in on Randy Orton during Team RAW vs Team Smackdown which would have seen Miz be an opportunist and cash in on a downed Viper landing a Skull Crushing Finale to steal the WWE Title from Orton.The Miz and Orton would have a rematch at TLC with Miz retaining in a singles match against Orton which would have seen Alex Riley become involved and cost Orton the WWE Title.Orton and Miz would next have a match at Royal Rumble with both Miz and Randy facing off in a Steel Cage match with Miz defeating Orton after escaping from the cage.Elimination Chamber would see Miz locked in the chamber against John Cena,CM Punk,Rey Mysterio,John Morrison,and Sheamus which would see Miz win and retain the title after defeating his former best friend.Miz and Morrison and Cena would have a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 27 with Morrison defeating Miz for the WWE Title after some assistance from The Rock.Miz,Morrison,and Cena would have a rematch at Extreme Rules with Morrison defeating both Miz and Cena landing a StarShip Pain on John for the win.Miz and Morrison would have a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Title at Over The Limit with Morrison having some incredible spots during the match and finishing the match with a Reality Check onto Miz.Capitol Punishment could see a feud develop between both Miz and Riley with Miz blaming Riley for his losses and this would lead to a match at Capitol Punishment which would see Riley pick up a huge win defeating Miz.Riley and Miz would both participate in the Money In The Bank match which would see Miz come close to winning the briefcase but having it stolen from him by Alex Riley leading to Alberto Del Rio winning the MITB.SummerSlam would see both men face off in a Falls Count Anywhere match where both men contracts will be on the line with Miz defeating Riley sending him packing.The Miz would look to capture gold again challenging for the IC Title at Night Of Champions with him being inserted into a Triple Threat match between Miz,Rhodes,and Jackson which would see the match end with Riley jumping the barricade and attacking The Miz leading to the arrest of Riley and Rhodes stealing the pinfall from Miz.Miz would press charges against Riley with Vince McMahon seeing profit in the feud with Triple H giving Riley a 2nd chance by having a No Holds Barred match which would see Riley defeat Miz to regain his contract.Team RAW and Team Smackdown would compete at Bragging Rights which would see Miz betray Riley and cost Team RAW the match.Survivor Series would see both Miz and Riley competing in the Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team match with both Riley and Miz competing in Team Laurinaitis vs Team Long with Miz betraying Team RAW to join Team Smackdown.The Miz and Alex Riley would compete in an I Quit match at TLC which would see Riley make Miz say I Quit leading to Riley gaining a big win over Miz.
