The Columbia Harbor House salmon is top-tier, and I love that it comes in a kids portion, too, for if you want something hearty and healthy but not huge. It's just a nice, simple, classic item that tastes like something you could make at home which feels great when you've been eating in restaurants for days

This is such a great video! Thank you for doing this. I don't know if this happened to you but all the quick service tables that are outside are never cleaned. We do restaurants now because of this. We sat at dirty tables one too many times. I would love to see more like this in the other parks. 👍

Pecos Bill and Columbia Harbor House are our favorite quick service at MK. Thanks for the heads up on the corn dog and gluten free chicken strips! Have you tried the egg roll cart by Adventure Land? We’ve enjoyed the cheeseburger and Rueben egg rolls there. I think the Rueben has been switched out for pepperoni now.

When I worked in Magic Kingdom custodial yeaaaarsss ago, Harbor House was the place we would hit up for lunch often. I'd change out of my costume and go buy the fish/chicken tender platter and it was always great. Its a solid quick service place!

Lunching pad also has slushy drinks which are super refreshing in the Florida heat. RIP nutella and fruit waffle at Sleepy Hollow. CHH is definitely my favorite. Great kids meal for adults option too.

Nope. My family stopped going after Michael Eisner was removed. The idiot Bob Iger has destroyed Disney integrity and quality. Disney is it's own worst enemy in a lot of ways lately. All those horrible live action remakes that no one asked for and are bombing at the box office, lack of customer service when they used to be the gold standard for it when Eisner was at the helm, all those Marvel and Star Wars movies that they keep making that again, 🤨no one asked for and when they do finally "unveil" something that took them YEARS, we get the very lack luster Encanto show and 😏whatever the heck that Communicore update is supposed to be. And then they have the audacity to continue to bump up their prices while continuing to decrease experiences. Walt would weep at what his park has become.

I am always thankful for the starbees locations in the parks. It's the ONLY place to get an on-the-go cappuccino. Always our first stop when we visit.

Great video! You are so right about the toppings bars. They were definitely a must when trying to zhuzh up your bland burger. Definitely missed. I also find it sad that the people who will experience Disney World for the first time will not get the same experience that we had pre-Covid. After coming to the park annually for 20 + years, outside of some of the cool attractions, Disney has become just like any other theme park. The special touches that they used to have, are just not there anymore. 😕

Grew up going to Disney monthly in the 80s and early 90s, and skipped the food places at the MK. Go-to lunch was always just a turkey leg in Frontier Land and a slice a pizza in Epcot for dinner. If I was lucky, I'd have extra money for a mickey ice cream. 😊

Glad to hear that Pecos Bill received a refresh. I stopped going after they pulled out the fixings bar. Had no idea that Sleepy Hollow's favorites had diminished - shows how often a once-annual west coast visitor pops in to these places! I appreciate Cosmic Ray's mobile order for sure, and Sonny is great. Clearly inspired by Chuck E. Cheese, and something we'll never see again in a Disney park (traditional animatronic, original story and dialogue, not tied to an IP, offered for "free").

Friars nook was always our go to for a quick bite. It was always busy I don’t understand why they basically took everything good off the menu. I’ll be in back at the parks in under two weeks. This was a great refresher video for some of the underwhelming food at MK.

You can still get toppings for your burger at cosmic rays but you have to ask for them! I asked a cast member for some back in July and she got them no questions asked!

I agree with the Sleepy Hollow review, I didn't even like the regular Mickey Waffel I had last time I was there, but that corn dog is amazing. My other go to is Gaston Tavern with the cinnamon roll and the creme brulee tart they have.

I remember all too well the rotisserie chicken platter at Cosmic Rays. I would get it every time. It was so good. It's sad that Disney has chosen to "cheapen" their food quality instead of being a theme park leader in theme park foods. They used to be. Pinocchio's Village Haus used to have an awesome salad many many years ago. We ate at Pecos Bills again at the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party night when we were there. They really upped their game with the new menu. I got one of the bowls and there was so much food in it that I could not eat it all. I would eat there again. We will be at MK on Saturday, Feb 8th. I want to eat at Columbia Harbor House again. It has been years since eating there.

Only been to MK twice in my career. I always digged Columbia Harbour House, Gaston's Tavern, (that cinnamon roll can feed a family of 4. You can ask for additional frosting if your roll is a bit dry..)Friar's Nook (I'm a tater tot fiend) and Peco's Bill were alright, but I wish there was a variety aside from friggan hot dogs. lol As for the closing fo Tortuga Tavern I think they're trying to do something around that area, and I find it weird that place is only open seasonally. Considering there's gonna be a PotC lounge they're building across it, I'm curious to what form of collaboration is at hand if that was the intention?

I absolutely prefer the mickey waffle at sleepy hollow. I had the savory one a couple weeks ago and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and saucy and the waffle was soft and sweet. So much better than the round one.

NOLA viewer here. The Golden Oak gumbo has okra in it. Very Louisiana style prep. Looks better than the gumbo served in Disneyland. Okra tends to thicken gumbo. It also can be a little "slimy" it not cooked down enough. The dish looks okay just needs to be thinned down some. Also agree it would be better with white rice.

Harbor House is #1 for me.I like the fried shimp platter.Of course it used be a lot better but they reduced the amount of shrimp you get and changed the batter for the worse.The grilled shrimp are good.Pinochios and Pecos Bill used to be halfway decent until they changed menus.Worst for me is CosmicRays.Was served a gross grilled chicken sandwich that was so soggy I threw it out and will never go back. I miss the Nutella waffle sandwich when they were made fresh.Then you could tell they started using frozen waffles and it wasn't the same.Still angers me till this day that they got rid of it.

Wow, not an easy 😕 task ... 🤔 finding 10 best quick service places to rank at MK! First, another good food vlog/challenge👍. For me, #1 Columbia Harbor House -- Fish 🐟 Platter and New England Clam Chowder 🍲 ❤ (big fan of those). #2 Gaston's Tavern 🍺 -- Ham and Gruyere Tart followed by either a Creme Brulee Croissant or The Grey Stuff Cupcake 🧁 (depends upon the mood I'm in ... especially when I'm in the MK, wishing I were at EPCOT's Les Halles French bakery/pastry shop ... ordering a heated Jambon Beurre followed by a Frangipane--I so wish I were there right now 😢). Nothing else tickles my fancy @ MK. However, I will be trying Casey's Corner Corn Dog Nuggets with Cheese Sauce when I visit MK. Also, you made me want to try Sleepy 🥱 Hollow's Hand-Dipped Corn Dog.
