Not sure if you'll see this but I was just curious, do you own a car? I mean at all. A few travelling vloggers I know simply don't own a car at all. I always wonder how that works out overall. P.S. I worked in Wi for 2 years. All over, top to bottom all along the Mississippi, all along the Illinois border, Waay above Black River Falls to waay above green bay, 300 feet in the air on towers overlooking Baraboo and Reinlander during summer and winter storms. Milwaukee rooftops and Towers and also Madison (UW). At the time, I worked for one of the 3 major carriers. Like Johnny Cash, In Wisconsin, I been everywhere man. Originally from SoCal though. Thanks for the content, it has really brought great insight and value. I've been following since maybe 15k subs.

After a long time laying off returning to Costa Rica, I returned last December and did a logistical night at Balmoral on Avenida Central, I was dismayed. he hotel went into lock-down and had to exit out of indoor parking after hailing a attendant to upon the gate. It's a fire-trap. I knew CR as a kid before issues and influx from Nicaragua and it was a dream. Things to change, unfortunately. I returned in Nov. and again Feb. to do the Areval-Monteverde-Manuel Antonio circuit and had no issues. Most of hotel staff is Nica. Despite that, returning next week for 9 nights in Puerto Viejo. My last night before departure will avoid central San Jose. It's still worth it.

@siamiam4306Ай бұрын
@@AdventureElliot It can be expensive, if you allow it in some cases. Car rental is a cost you have to eat if you want that experience. For the upcoming trip, I got a "green season" rate and a few Benjamin's lower than my last trip. ...... As experienced, my mother is from Cartago since I was 5 and probably made 40 trips. I live in FL now, and the airfare is cheap and only a three hr flight. It's a relief from the long-hauls to se Asia I've been taking. ........ I'm not cheap, but I ain't going to be a sucker for gringo pricing. I speak the idiosyncrasies and I can get away where a regular tourist might not. ......... All my cousins raved about Puerto Viejo and I finally went there last year x 4nts, and I finally found my vibe. I'm returning there next week for 9nts for a chill vacay with some hiking. Some restaurants are really good there and have some in mind. I booked a 2br Airbnb across a dirt road from beach at Punta Uva. I plan to buy a a throw-away grill and cook most of our food in outdoor set-up this place has. I already now when farmer's markets operate, and which carnerceria & fish market I'm going to get my stuff. I just need to know to get me a few blunts. LOL ! I'll probably spend more in ten days in CR than what I would do in a month in Thailand. We went to Egypt also last May, it was even cheaper there........ It's going to be Tuanis en el Caribé.

Let's be honest walking around a high-crime area with an outstretched arm and an expensive phone/camera is pretty f***ing stupid. Period. All of your videos are basically you tempting fate. So far you have been pretty lucky. I am waiting to see where it catches up to you.. MEDELLIN????

I totally disagree with this video and what you’re saying I’ve been going to Costa Rica for 20 years and never had a problem. They are some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Please get your facts straight before you post a negative video about a country. Truthfully, you do not understand. One of the reason

Did you watch the video? I showed the current state of a part of the capital. Did you know Costa Rica has a problem with immigrants? Did you see the generosity? Did you hear the immigrants stories? Did you hear the police warn me? Lastly, before you post a negative comment check out my other videos in Costa Rica where I show only positivity and the ticos for who they are.
