This one might ruffle some feathers. I've hesitated to fully dive into things like redpill, the "manosphere", etc. over the years-mostly because all I see are misconceptions and infighting. But maybe it's time to look a little deeper.

Excellent breakdown of the Manosphere and the oversimplification of "how to be a man" to fitness or becoming attractive to certain female personalities or psychologies. Doing the shadow integration and really being abe to BE with what is within us and our past is the really key to freedom and greatness IMO

Good stuff. Slightly disappointed in the reference to "woke ideology" which is an overused (by the people youre criticising), loosely defined catch all phrase to throw at anyone with the audacity to call out bullshit, which I see no problem with personally. Hoped to make it through a video without a derogatory reference to the imagined "woke" left. Will continue to give your channel a chance tho. All the best 👍

Great video. I've noticed that I only gravitate towards creators and videos where the added value is a powerful and useful message rather than drama. I like that concept of social cohesion being a key element of an alpha's added value. I've both naturally been able to do and worked to enhance that area of my skillset because it's been useful, but the way you broke it down and backed it up helped me understand the value of doubling down on that skillset moving forward.

I think Hypergamy is making everyone unhappy. The bottom majority of men can’t get relationships and when they do they are constantly worried about cheating. Most women keep trying to obtain commitment from the top few guys which will more than likely not commit to them. And the top men live sexful lives, but they are deeply unhappy and unfulfilled. This system is making everyone deeply unhappy and online dating, social media, etc is making it worse. My biggest worry is that this is the natural state of things.

I vibe with what you're saying. I entered this space to find some pussy, but I found people like Alan Roger Currie and Rom Wills who showed me how to be a man. They teach self improvement and to not whine about life, but these current Red Pill content creators are more concerned with looking Good, shaming other men for not being like them, and the constant bitching about female nature is so boring. Women are gonna be women, can't help that. Only thing you can do is live life, and watch out for toxic people. Good video.

To me some of the red pill guys just dont come across as men who sincerely do their inner work, who go to therapy, who developed a deep rooted, grounded, loving attitude towards themselves and others, be it other males, females or children with the goal of being the full expression of themselves and the goal to nourish real connection in a authentic and true way of being a man. Positive examples would be guys from The Sacred Sons, Trevor Boehm from the Uncivilized Nation, or also The Man Enough Podcast. These men take their paths and inner work serious. To me the Red Pill Guys come across more like hurt people who are (still) acting more on their not yet uncovered woundings, personal and from society. I think this is also why they get so much attention, because this is the state of most of the people and men in our world. But such men and their ideologies/philosophies are at best incomplete and lacking real responsibility, and at worst dangerous and harmful because they stop boys (regardles of age) from becoming men.
@drumminham

I couldn't disagree more. They're just not prioritizing a culture of women who don't prioritize family and traditional moral values. Now are there some that promote a playboy like lifestyle? Simply put, they are competing for marketshare in an increasingly crowded market, for an unfortunately growing, yet still quite finite audience. There are only so many minutes in the day an average guy can devote to watching KZbin videos on Manosphere content. It's sales. It's branding and marketing. It's posing and posturing. And yes; it's entertainment. And time will tell whether it's doing more harm than it's worth, even if it does open some eyes to alternate perspectives on what young men should be doing with their lives and where they want to be. You're analyzing this as though it's nothing but good actors within the Manosphere with the best of intentions.

I agree with your remark on men's social value being judged on their ability to hold a group together. Our world is constantly changing and the economic conditions have made it harder for everyone to support themselves, never mind provide for a family. Feminism has made great strides in breaking down barriers for women which has allowed them to become more self sufficient. That simultaneously increases the amount of competition in the workforce and it raises the bar for men when it comes to dating. Women do not necessarily need men just to pay the bills anymore, just holding down a job might not be enough to find a partner. This is where you see a lot of the Redpill community come into play, they see that the old script for men isn't working anymore and they try to sell an exaggerated parody of traditional masculinity as the solution. The irony is that the "alpha males" old were the reason that feminism was so successful. You cannot maintain group cohesion when you're being led around by a bastard. I hate the term toxic masculinity, I think masculine toxicity is more appropriate. Because that's what Redpill is, it teaches you how to be toxic and force that toxicity onto others through masculinely framed behaviors. That all being said I'll caution you against leaning hard into the idea that you can position yourself in the center in order to create harmony. That assumes that it is possible for the world to be harmonious, but the left (and I mean that in a Marxist sense, not in a culture war sense) has spent a lot of time exploring that philosophy and have made some pretty compelling arguments against it (Das Kapital). Thats not to say that seeking out harmony is bad, but as MLK pointed out in his Letter from Birmingham Jail peace and justice are two separate concepts. Peace can temporarily exist without justice, but it is only a matter of time before tensions flare and another challenger disturbs the peace because the "alpha" didn't establish a sense of justice that is the prerequisite for group cohesion.

You seem to have no concept of what you are discussing. The manosphere is a general category applied to a collection of content which is very varied. That is not a "movement." Rollo Tomassi is someone who hung around long enough to lay claim to ideas which he did not develop. The people you are listing are a continuity of PUAs. It is no longer cool so they don't like the title. But things like MRAs, MGTOW, IBMOR, etc. Have very little in common with the PUA scene. When you just accept the likes of Tomassi's framing you are giving him what he wants.

Connor, I enjoyed this video along with all the others that I've seen. So please keep up the good work. In regards to this one. First off I'll admit that I'm dated in that I'm in my mid-60s. So, as an older man I'll have a different perspective. I was divorced in the latter 90s. At the time I didn't want the divorce. Back then was when I took my first dose of the red pill. The way I got beat up in court gave me a case of the red pill rage. I've lost one of my three kids due to parental alienation. An ugly topic that is seldom discussed. So I took more red pills because the legal system shows that husbands are disposable and fathers are reduced to being a cash cow. Back then I didn't even know about the red pill, hypergamy, MGTOW, etc. But after the divorce my ex wound up marrying a man who I figured out made about twice as much as me. His home was really nice in the type of neighborhood that she always wanted to be in. Now she was finally on par with her sibling. Before discovering the men's movement I went MGTOW without knowing others have too. I have no regrets about doing it. I wish this type of information was available when I was young in the 70s. Looking back I can see how clueless I was. But it's out there now and my sons & other young men know of it. In regards to others in the manosphere. There are many but some others that are worth watching are Dr. Shawn T. Smith, Rich Cooper, Anthony D. Johnson, Better Bachelor and Strong Successful Male. All have their takes and styles. I find watching them and the ones you mentioned all of value. I too, have been horrified and dissappointed with some of the in-house fighting. The manosphere needs to stand united as it makes the movement more respectable. Those that do the fighting need to learn from former president Thomas Jefferson who would most always ignore nor respond to certain types of personal critiques.

Glad to hear the manosphere has helped you. I have a lot of love and support for the manosphere, and it seems you missed my point. I'm not disrespecting the space, or its validity, i'm pointing out that there is a lot of childish, feminine in-fighting. A lot of the guys I've read and respected over the years have got caught in petty hit videos for clicks. It also doesnt seem like you listened to the video at all and are just copy / pasting the usual BS about how great and alpha you think you are compaired to anyone actually doing something with their life. Guaranteed you wouldn't say most of this garbage IRL, to my face. Lastly - I've had guys like Stirling Cooper on my show and have Rollo Tomassi coming on my show as well -- who, btw, is married. Yes marriage is a risk, but it takes balls and some intelligence to do it the right way, on your own terms, and find the right woman to do it with.
