When pushed to his limits, his control of the ones he has consumed is also weakened, so a strong "soul" can break out of it. Mori pushing Jaegal was enough to let the grandson use his music abilty to control alchemy and change Jaegal's body to stone.. or at least, that's how I understood it :D

For those thinking about the name changes like Jaecheongdaesong-> Seiten Taisei, or Yeoui-> Nyoibo, it’s because God of Highschool is adapted after Havoc in Heaven and Journey to the West, both of which are Chinese legends. All of the original names are Chinese, so Jaecheongdaesong/Seiten Taisei was Qi Tian Da Sheng (齐天大圣) and Nyoibo/Yeoui was Ruyi (如意). So the reason why the names were changed is because both the Korean and the Japanese are direct translations of the Chinese names. I hope this clears up some confusion!

The character of Jaecheondaeseong and his weapons are all from a Chinese Mythology/Book/TV Show named Journey to the west. The original names are: Name of the character: Qi tian da sheng in stead of Jaecheondaeseong although that is just a nick name meaning ' Great sage on par with the heaven' his real name was Sun Wu Kong. Ru Yi Jin Gu Bun instead of Yeoui and a just a mere copy of Ru Yi is roughly 7,960 kg and he could change the size of ru yi the larger it is the heavier and he could shrink it to the size of a pin and put it in his ear, Jin duo Yun in stead of Guendowoon, in the original story he has no magical armor that makes him op af and his gourd bottle was just the English translation for a gourd there was no special name for it. P.S. in the original story he does pass the last test with his friends and ascend to become a god. Some extra little information, in the original story Sun Wu Kong can change into 72 different things from a dog to a fly following that because he can change into 72 different things he also has 72 different heads/bodies so he can die 72 times before he is truly dead. He erased his name from the life book of the jade emperor so that the Monkey king basically will never die of old age and the fact that he became a god and went to the god realm well that in itself makes him insusceptible to old age.

For Daewi he used Kyoushin Karate: High Fist of The Black Turtle (Japanese would Be Genbu) For Mira he used Wolfwang Swordsmanship: Bare Hand Style which is where she used her hand as a sword. For Illypo, Seungah & Seungyeon he used Practical Taekkyeon: Low Kick. Mori Jin shows extreme intelligence and is able to quickly learn and replicate techniques that he hasn't practiced by using his own extreme physical understanding. Like learning Kick of The Blue Dragon by adapting Daewi's Wave of The Blue Dragon after seeing it once. Or learning the Bongchim Nah (the acupuncture techniques used by the Godly Doctor Bongchim), though a training manual with some help from Bongchim.

What came through were about fifteen of the most well known gods and goddesses throughout mythology itself. Odin, Zeus, Garuda, and the strongest of them all Satan 666. They came to earth with an army of titanic size angels over a million strong. Mori killed them all by himself and fought Satan to a standstill. But before that, he spent half of the war away trapped in the heavenly realm and had to fight his way through over 300 levels killing or incapacitating guardian deities like shiva. He did all of this and still had enough strength to completely obliterate the army that was invading earth. That is how strong Mori Jin is at full strength.
