I cried so hard when I was told I needed a C-section. I totally felt like I failed even though my daughter was breech. After they pulled my daughter out, I didn't feel like I failed at all. She was everything I could have ever wanted and you know....our kids all end up wanting chicken nuggets and mac and cheese whether or not they were born c-section or natural.

The fact that women feel like they failed because they NEED to undergo MAJOR surgery to SAVE their child's life proves how fucking messed up we are BECAUSE of our awful society

You were so irrational my God, why would you ever think that?
@st0688254 жыл бұрын
I know what you mean. My 1st daughter was breech as well and I too had a C-Section. My second daughter was delivered by natural birth and you are so RIGHT, they both eat chicken nuggets and mac n cheese the same. LOL We women are so hard on ourselves. That second child took her sweet time coming out (18 hrs of back labor). WISH she had been a c-section. HA
@honeybee61543 жыл бұрын
I had all 4 of mine via c-section. Never felt badly about it at all. I have a male shaped pelvis (think kidney bean) so no baby could ever engage. My kids are now 31, 28, 20, & 14.

@amylee35314 жыл бұрын
@JDMime danger of what? I did IUI, IVF/ICSI etc. The pregnancy is the least of the concern. You just dont transfer back more then 1 or 2 embryos depending. A responsible dr wont transfer more then that back
@amylee35314 жыл бұрын
I did the infertility treatment and yeah it sucks. My ex wouldnt adopt or allow a surrogate so that was my only option to be a mom. Years later, i conceived 2 kids and was put on bedrest for the entire pregnancies. I was SO sick just like Amy plus I had kidney stones. Yuck. I also have/had endo too but a couple years ago i had a complete hysto by choice. After my 2nd i didnt want to be pregnant ever again. I wonder if Amy and her hubby are planning on a surrogate. If that was an option for me I would have done that without question :)

i just want to bask in this comment section. i've always been a fan of schumer but especially after she did her show and i felt she was so smart, and had great points to make. if you go to any regular video of her, just stand up wise, theres tons of men, and women tbh, hating on her. they claim it's because she 'steals jokes,' but if you knew anything about comedy and stand up, you could see that most of those were parallel thinking. i truly think it's more about the fact she's a strong feminist that is overtly sexual. no one bats an eye at men that make tons of penis jokes or sex jokes but if a woman does it it's 'all she talks about.' i just love that all the comments can see her greatness.

@MarcosIsABaritone2 жыл бұрын
@@doublefeature Yes. Also, Nikki Glaser, with her deserved success has not experienced the seemingly meteoric rise in exposure and pedestal for reigning female comic that Amy experienced for those three years. Amy made the mistake of SUCCESS and being a "star." The patriarchy could not abide that. So sad and pathetic.

Amy is such a girls girl. Adore her. And she’s honest and funny as hell. Like Amy, I was bullied as a child (I came from a very religious family and I wasn’t allowed to wear pants or cut my hair and my mom made me take a bible to school and pray at lunch and all of that combined made me a target; the other kids were brutal with how much they abused me. BRUTAL), I have endometriosis, and I also had hyper emesis with both my term pregnancies (I lost a child in utero and I’ve also had a miscarriage). Severely. And it’s the worst hell I’ve ever experienced. It literally feels like you’re going to die. You literally vomit, including retching with nothing in your stomach, every 15 minutes every day for part or all of your pregnancy. I was in the hospital for 7 straight months with my daughter. And I puked right up until I had her. On the delivery table actually. And I only Weighed 117 pounds on the delivery table. My daughter was born pre mature at 8 months because they couldn’t stop my labor and she only weighed 4lbs 10oz. But she thrived and is now grown and healthy and strong. Like Amy, I didn’t want her to grow up an only child. I’m an only child. And it’s lonely and very hard when you’re young; but also when you’re older and have no siblings with which together you can face the aging and death of family member and parents and heartbreaks and just life. Everything is on you. Your whole life. No one but you. And it’s hard. HARD. I always wanted to have at least two children so they would never be all alone in the world. They would always have each other and each others spouses and children, especially after I’m gone. So despite knowing I would most likely be very sick, I decided to give my daughter a sibling. I had my son when my daughter was two. And I also had hyper emesis when I was pregnant with him but only for 5-6 months, then it got better. He was also born early (I just have a small waist and small womb and the babies want out!! 🤣) but not premature and was 5lbs 6oz so normal weight. My daughter is now 22 and my son is now 20 and 6’5!!! So don’t think those little babies won’t grow up strong and tall because they can and do!!

On a serious note, Amy may be known for her dirty and profane brand of humor, but her reputation for being unusually self-deprecating, often-brutally honest, is basically just her process of being kinder to herself against those trolls who vilify her.

I loved this interview! This one was the most entertaining one yet in my opinion. Some constructive feedback I wish I could give to Oprah is to "Please allow your interviewee to finish speaking without interrupting their statement." I've found myself interested in thoughts expressed by interviewees that were interrupted by Oprah speaking over them. Overall, I love this series and I hope this isn't the last tour.

This made our day because we love u&ur comedy&hit the truth right on head with directness which he knows some people consider rude......go to family members home....He"What is that awful smell?Doesn't any1 else SMELL THAT,LIKE A POOP DIAPER😣!!!!!"I'm thinking baby pooped,so say that happens.."NO,GOD NO,not him!!!"Family member who keeps kids "says you are standing where diaper pail was."I KNEW IT,I KNEW IT,POOP SMELL!!!!!"😁and I say laughing &😂laughing...."Let's take our coats off now"&Without doing so,says" I have to wipe my feet off outside&smoke to get that STINK out"😄😄And he said after learning you had married some1 like him that maybe there is hope for him♥️

People can’t stand that someone that is not so-called “perfect” looking, is confident AND successful! They put pressure on themselves to look like what cultures says we should, and Amy doesn’t. Ultimately it’s jealousy.

I was just thinking this. I watch her stand up multiple times. I also don’t get the stolen jokes thing because she’s great with on the fly jokes and wit
