Wrestling is not fake, it’s predetermined. Other than that I think it is a great platform to get into acting and especially action movies, The Rock is one of the highest earning actors in the business right now and he started in the wrestling business, same goes John Cena, Dave Bautista, and others.

@jevonhilton2012 Жыл бұрын
@@314jrockThere’s a major difference. Pro-Wrestling is an anomaly, it’s a performance so to speak in real time. Not only that, you can call it “fake fighting” but the schedules are vastly different compared to mma which can be very taxing to the body. Pro-Wrestling you take bumps that you don’t take in mma. Pro-Wrestling, you’re getting slammed through a table 10-30ft from the ground. Glass, barbed wire. I’m not even talking about injuries. But pro-wrestling is very taxing to the body if not more so than mma considering those things.

I don’t believe that professional wrestling (not freestyle wrestling but WWE) is a sport, but I believe that the participants ARE ATHLETES. I can’t call it a sport because it’s not a real competition it’s a predetermined result meaning two wrestlers are not competing to defeat each other. there is no standing, or criteria that determines who should compete for championships like in other sports like Basketball, Football, Futbol, Hockey, Baseball, MMA. But they are definitely athletes. A regular guy can’t jump off the couch and preform in the WWE without training and conditioning. With that being said, I predict many internet wars between MMA fans and WWE fans in the near future. I’m an MMA fan but I respect everyone in every walk of life pretty much anyone who strives to achieve something. But MMA fans can be harsh at times and WWE fans can be childish at times so this is my opinion of the two entities you guys battle it out in the comments. Peace.
@allainangcao28 Жыл бұрын
You forgot to mention that it is also a platform to get into acting because of how it is structured. You get promos and segments like a skit in a TV show or movie and the match itself is like one choreographed stunt. The Rock is currently one of the highest paid actors because of pro wrestling.

Pro Wrestling is definitely theatrics. But there is a high level of athleticism involved. There are bumps and bruises involved. Pro wrestlers have to be at a certain level of conditioning. To sum it up, Pro Wrestling is a certain type of entertainment. Just like a movie. Movies and tv shows have stunts that the actors don't even perform, but Pro wrestlers do it all. They do the acting and the stunts. Just like movies, there are characters and storylines. People go crazy over shows like the walking dead and game of thrones. MMA is about becoming the best fighter you can be, to use your skills to defeat your opponent. WWE is about becoming the best wrestler you can be to put on a performance. An mma fight is like preparing for war. Athletes are differentiated by their skill in mma, which is not the case nor is it possible to measure in pro wrestling. Endeavor should just dissolve the UFC and combine it with WWE, and introduce an mma program under the WWE banner like Raw and Smackdown (but mma version).
@Japoopyboobie Жыл бұрын
That’s a horrible idea

They shouldn't have to defend themselves and their credentials.

Can't take an mma channel seriously that covers acting. From a lifelong mega wrestling fan: don't mix these two. Might as well cover circus performers ( athletic performers in an arena. )

Damn we gotta get used to these two worlds mixing

WWE is predetermined. Hence 'scripting'. Performance & athleticity = Good entertainment. But as long as it's scripted? It's fake combative sports. No, not into MMA. ... But Thailand's One Championship. ... more brutal than UFC.

The Japanese have a much better MMA and Pro wrestling culture compared to some pretentious MMA fans
