Dunno, I have seen about a couple of articles by mental health doctors favorably discussing that aspect of the movie. Look up “Dark Phoenix is an Eye-Opening Lesson in What PTSD is Like For Women, and Why That Matters“. The cast and crew have said themselves that they did a lot of mental health research.
