That still wouldn't have worked. The dragons want a definitive answer. So regardless of whether she's performed well she needed to be brutally honest and say exactly how much she has taken in sales I don't think she wanted to say because she didn't actually know. Which is why she started blustering about different types of retailer which are totally irrelevant as it was the group sales data they wanted not a breakdown of each retail outlet. She clearly has no head for figures and the few numbers she suggested were made up on the spot.
