Very interesting! When I visited Buddhist temples in Ladakh, which is the northern-most area of modern India, I learned that the cultural diffusion went both ways. The wall paintings in the temples there are in a mixture of Indian and Chinese styles, because artists from China traveled to Ladakh to work. Your videos are beautiful and informative. Thanks for your work!

Histories are the backbone of our present modern life. We find ourselves at the intersection of emerging development and traditional lifestyle. Thank you for sharing such amazing work. For those planning to work on video projects, those eager to learn about the vast cultures of China, those interested in a historic touch, and for me, your videos are undoubtedly among the best in all aspects.

This video kept popping up in the youtube recommendation list, but I didn't feel like watching it until now. I was rather disappointed by my trip to Xi'an some years ago, for the ancient city I expected to see turned out to be mostly a very modern city. Your video is beautifully shot and the music blends well with the narration. It is a piece of art. Well done, and keep up with the great work!

The ancient history, philosophy, and daily lives of people are viewed through a beautiful lens. I absolutely love your channel! I was able to visit China over twenty years ago, and Xi’an was one of the three cities that I got to visit (the others were Beijing & Shanghai on a tour package). I spent several days wandering around Xi’an without the tour group and I got to see several of the sites that you showed in the video (temples and food as "dumpling capital & old capital). Also, we took a side trip from there to see the Terra-cotta Warriors! Now that I'm retired, I would love Love LOVE to "run around China" and visit different sites/settings like you!!! Maybe I'll get a chance one day! Thanks for you!

I've recently discovered a few China's based Volggers fluent in English lanuage with intelligent narrative with deep knowledge of China land and history ( even if it's research by given team ) like you and "Little Chinese Everywhere", "Travel with Fawn" with extremely high quality contents! Even though I'm of overse Chinese decent (Cantonese), my Mandarin is quite poor and mainly rely on Foreigners in China past few years to get to "know" China today with shallow knowledge of China since I live in Amerca four decades. I think you guys (educated in the West) can balance the narratives dominated by the Western media with bias or out right melodious intent! Because you can't get your stories out with language people understand, you'll alway be hostage to those who do write your stories for you! Please keep expanding your contents!Good luck!
@idofdm762510 ай бұрын
I kind of realized quite a few China's KZbinrs stated being back in China after 4,5,7 years who're fluent in English! I kind of thought to myself Western nations recent ant-China stand may cause many Western educated Chinese youngsters otherwise may remain in the West and have no interest in telling stories of their motherland, back in China making English contents for foreigne viewers! The truth is everybody love their own country and must be hurtful to hear bias an unfair poraty of their own country no matter where you're from!
