@@petertselios i switched a few years back from iphone 12 mini to xiaomi 11 ultra by popping my apple sim card into the new xiaomi 11 ultra on tmobile with no issues. just verify the bands on your current service provider and compare those bands against the bands on the phone you want. in my case, the xiaomi has 3 bands that support tmobile (n41, B4 & B5) i never ran into any signal drops with the 11U here in the US.

Every time you're reviewing a Xiaomi phone I switch back to super wallpapers, haha! I rock them for a couple of months but then get bored...until I see another Xiaomi review. 😅 Basically I agree, we need more super wallpapers or at least more landing spots on planets like Earth. That'd be cool too! Otherwise, this 14 pro is a beast!! Btw, I like your throwback stories and your humor, they totally fit your style. I mean in general, there's literally no other tech reviewer I'd watch for an hour or 2 hours straight. Tbh, when it comes to most other reviewers even with their special effects and fancy editing of like, 15 min. videos..I mostly find myself skipping ahead. I'm loving xiaomi lately not only does this phone have the new snapdragon 8 gen 3 (which I heard they rushed so some of the software is not fully worked out) but they're camera has a adjustable aperture and that makes a huge difference with image quality and their one of the few doing that.

It would be nice to see thermal testing on these phones during your fast testing routine. Heat is obviously the enemy of all batteries, it would just be nice to see how well the heat is being managed while fast charging wired and wirelessly.

That would be interesting, but inconsequential. Xiaomi’s 120W charging is actually quite mild. Samsung and Apple are sandbagging charge rates just so they can promote slight improvements over successive models. Whether charging a Redmi at 300W or supercharging a Tesla at 300kW, those are just peak outputs. Throughout a charging session, power is varied in order to manage heat and detrimental effects to electrodes.

I've been rockin a Xiaomi 10 ultra for almost 5 years using primarily the 120 fast charge for overnight charging and that's usually the only time I need to charge it... No battery problems so far. These phones are legit. I just dropped it for at least the 20th time and shattered the back glass and wifi stopped working. I'm bummed about switching out for a new one even after 5 years.

Man... I'm happy with my new 13T pro, no QHD, scumbag zoom (only up to 20x), or wireless charge but still has a Leica camera, great screen, all the Xiaomi software features (edit: my device had updates out of the box too, no HyperOS yet on this one but I read it's in beta), very fast and snappy, a lot more than half this device for half the price. I'm a grad student I need to calm down. But good to see they've got a flat screen on the regular pro... Maybe in a couple years if I'm feeling richer. Still enjoying your videos, even if I've got bef with anyone who doesn't put the charger in the box now. One other thing: the 13T pro for sure and I'm pretty sure other Xiaomi phones come with a screen protector, it's plastic and maybe not the best in the world but should last you long enough to find a better one if you want it.

Love the positive humor and what i realized was first thing you mention and list are the specs. Im sure other youtubers may do the same but thats what real Techies wanna know. Only thing i can complain about on this phone is no sdcard, but i mean it is a 1tb internal so theres that. Whaddya gonna do make it 2 tb if it had an sdcard? That would be cool tho.
