Ive tried akuma, seth and cammy and struggled to get above a 30% win ratio (im trash) picked up ed and had quite abit more success but was still stuck in bronze. Started to play sagat and got into silver immediately, now i hover between ultra silver and gold. I mean its still not great but a massive improvement for me. I think it really comes down to who you feel comfortable with honestly

Comfortable also plays a part I can agree with that What do you feel like you struggling with as a player? Anti airing? Checking the dash? Knowing proper frame traps for pressure?

@@xNightMareEffecT hey man, my anti airing is pretty on point id say but my big issue is dealing with pressure and knowing when to take my turn back. Once someone gets in or gets me in the corner i struggle pretty badly. Appreciate your time and keep up the good work 👍

Played rog to plat and now I’m spoiled with being able to space dash punches. I find it so hard to get in with cammy personally. Losing a LOT. But I’m glad I started with rog, fun and rewarding.

Yeah cammy can be a tough matchup but playing with your straights more can keep her at bay better

Falke, too. She’s the only character I’ve been comfortable with using and is easy to use. However, I’ve noticed it’s incredibly difficult to win with her. I just suck though. 😅

I've been playing abigail for a bit was playing as ken could barely get to bronze I sit high bronze to low super bronze as Abigail. But when I do lose I notice a lot of it is to do with my anti-airs and how different they are to ken whom I am more used to. Also I feel like I use his kit badly. Balrog may be a shout I'm thinking.

Depends tbh., great normals, fireball, good anti air etc but she's a hybrid so you have to be able to charge in certain situations for the best damage/combos

I use Nash and I'm struggling to get to platinum which is a great rank but not the top ranks like diamond classrs, master classes and warlord

Ken has no 3f: looking at all the Ken players waking up with his 3f tatsu!! that being said I think Ken is by far the best character for beginners, also he is so strong and can easily be used to climb ranks especially after the recent buffs

Kage, Honda, Blanka, Sakura, Sagat....those characters that you can spam fireballs, have a dp, do good damage....yes honda & blanka are charge characters but with a little practice you can get headbutt or blanka ball down pretty quickly. Kage is definitely one of those that I know can be hella cheap and his walk speed is so good.

Cammy is easy to use but she's also so unsafe. I don't win much with her which is a shame because she is probably my favorite character of the series. I win with Sagat a lot better but he's not very fun, all you do is just "Tiger! Tiger! Tiger! Tiger Uppercut! Tiger! Tiger! Tiger!"

Correction sir. Ken has 2 3 frames. Light dp and light tatsu. What he doesnt have is a 3 frame normal

@@xNightMareEffecT I guess my main issue with cammy is the same as Akuma. they both have really low health and you have to play almost perfect. my win rate with both of them is less than 10% online. Yeah, cammy does have good normals and combos are easy, but she takes a beating when she gets hit.

Laura, Cody, Rashid, Dhalsim, Poison, Birdie, and Karin are the easiest charcters to play. If you can zig zag play luke.. If you can charge easy play BISON. Chun li is the easiest charge character. Luke's easiest ZIG ZAG.

Cammy easy to learn? Definitely. Cammy easy to win with? Definitely not. I mentioned this to BrianF a while ago. Check out the overall character online win %. Cammy has one of the worst winning percentages online. For Cammy to be top tier, she must be played with skill. Why? Low health, low stun, no safe specials, no shenanigans, no mix up, no footsie crush counter, her main combo ender is extremely punishable if blocked. Her best tools are - shimmy, which isn’t easy for beginners, and cr. MK confirm into drill, which is very difficult. Compare to Honda’s winning percentage, where you can just buttslam yourself into Diamond.

This is true,. I can agree with this. It differently takes skill to “Master” any character But when talking about package and what a character offers? Cammy can be put on the list Good walk speed 3F Dp Amazing normals Combos are pretty straight forward Mastering the character is a different story

agree. Cammy is horrible for beginners, probably the worst advice is to recommend cammy. guile is also a terrible choice for beginners
