I actually liked the middle section with the wire showing, industrial chic. But once the top rim was wrapped, there was no balance with the wire. So I would have left the top unwrapped to show the wire. BUT, I love her finished project, too!

Wonderful! I love that the thrift stores are now open and we can go see what is available. Love your ideas on these simple things, and I have seen things like this, just haven't really thought things out. When you need to flatten cane lay it between 2 slightly damp warm dishtowels & set something heavy on top for about 10 minutes.

Simple scrunched tissue paper (light color/adds texture) and mod podge on the glass. Keeps the glass from breaking further/falling into the box!

I think my favorite is the trash can turned into a planter. It all came together right at the end and its super cute! I really thought you were going to make another pendant light, which would have also been cute as well. My brain then started thinking about lampshades and all the things you could do with the metal structure. I don't know why I've never thought to cut everything off and just see what structure you're left with. Also, I really liked the placemats even before you did anything. I think they would have been cute in 2 large frames with a mat laying over a solid color, like either light grey or even a very dark navy blue, all white would be cute too though. You've sparked my creativity and now I want to go thrifting.

Always love watching your diy flip decor videos, can get so much inspiration from them. Also for the first diy for extra security you can always purchase a thin sheet of clear plastic to glue onto the inside part of the glass. The from on the box is gorgeous, loved the final outcome. The place mats look like they’d by so fun so create with and to design interesting weaving across them. ☺️💕

Cute ideas! Here is a tip for you that I discovered not long ago: get yourself some silicone fingertip thimbles for when you're working with hot glue. They're amazing! You can push down your hot glued items without burning yourself. I got them on Amazon, and wish I'd known about them years ago, would have saved myself so many blisters! Happy crafting!
