I know it seems so elementary but I LOVE when you include your "mess ups". We all learn from it, and it makes me personally feel comfortable attempting DIY projects, knowing even if I "mess up" i just have to adjust and move on, and still can come up with a super cool piece!

Love these. What if you put some of the cane on the inside against the glass too. You'd still be able to see inside and you'd shore up the broken glass. I wouldn't put felt or wood behind the cane. I like the see through too.

Love the shadow box. So happy to see the hinges put on correctly also. That is a pet peeve of mine. It turned out beautiful but another alternative might have been two sided tape. You might want to put some tape clear tape over the crack just for safety reasons also I love that wall hanging. What if you would have done in Larks head through the open weave of the placemat? I love to go along with you on your thought process. You're so talented Hi Kinsley, hi Romeo❤

Heads up: when you have a piece of cane that's been rolled up and you want it to lay flat, boil water on a big pot, hold the cane above the steam (just turn of the stove and place the cane over the pot) for a couple of minutes, and then let it cool for a couple of hours with some heavy books on top of it.

Oh, great HEAVENS!!!! For all the pandemonium from Covid-19, because of it, I found your DIY KZbin channel. Hallelujah! (Just the channel, not the virus.) I have so much catching up to do! I absolutely love your creativity, the way you put colors together, new skills ideas--including using natural dyes...I just researched and discovered that red cabbage and baking soda make teal dye (whoodathunk? ...so much to learn and do and see, so little time), and your awesome power tools. I have been dreaming of a few power tools for several years now and you have just added another boost in that direction. (Why CAN'T great-grandma have power tools? :) ) I did hear you say something on a video I watched today that disturbed me, however. Please do not EVER think of getting rid of something you love because someone else likes different things. Art isn't right or wrong, it's a choice. And I absolutely LOVE the black and white print you have (the random black brush strokes in the lighter frame...sorry, I was multi-tasking)! I would tell you about my first living room transformation as a newlywed on a very tiny shoestring budget...1971! BUT. Enough time reading this. Please get back to your "Flipping" job so you can post more videos for us! :) P.S. I could NEVER live near your flea markets. Shudder. I would have to move. I find myself gasping when you shop with your camera on (don't get me wrong, I want you to continue) but I am amazed at all the really cool stuff you pass by! How do you do it??? (Actually, it would be the banker insisting I move...into a tent...because I'd be "flat broke!!!") ... For sharing your gift of creativity with us, I thank you. My banker, not so much.
