By the way.. we now have pretty concise video proof that Crosby is likely the best puck protector, backhander, and puck deflector in league history. Funny when people underrated him historically or underrate his skillset. He's the most technically proficient player of all time IMO.

It's funny how I used to be a Crosby hater, but I guess it's human nature to despice what you can't comperhend and for many years I didn't comprehend just how great Crosby truly is. This past few years I have come to my senses though, he really is the greatest player in the world.

just such an amazing and dynamic player. unfortunately wasn't able to watch players like gretz, hull, Howe and most of Lemieux early years and all those older player that everyone speaks so highly of but now we are able to witness a Top 5 player to ever play the game of hockey. No one in his era comes close to the player Sid is. Score, play make, defend all at unreal levels and process the game at a crazy rates of speed. He will always be this eras GOAT and it's not anywhere close to debatable.

QMManning You can compare. It's not a sure thing but players like Howe, Gretzky, and Orr can compete in today's game. They would still be hall of famers if they played in this era of "tank goalies". Read this carefully though: They would not have the same statistics but they would still lead the league in the statistical categories of today. Hypothetically speaking, I'm talking about Gretzky playing with a Crosby in the league in a 2000s played season... Gretzky would almost always get the edge and real hockey fans who know their history would agree with me

Some players raise their sticks to call for a pass to take a one timer. Crosby does it to call for a shot he can deflect while standing 5 feet to the side of the net . I don't recall seeing any other player have that kind of confidence in their hand eye coordination.
