I look at Robert Smith and John Daly comes to mind. Rare talent and amazing power. But not quite the career.

Injuries sadly caught up to Smith down the stretch. It’s a shame, because he was damn fun to watch

@@thetrain3302 @RADIN SYAH I've seen another video where R.Smith said he had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia - a painful condition that would certainly have cut his pro career short.
@briguyinsi2 жыл бұрын
@@watson956 He talks about it in this video too, they cut to a clip of him shortly after the match starts. Such a shame that he had so many issues in his prime, he was a beast. I think he still bowls though, so hopefully we’ll see him in 2 years on the PBA50 Tour.

How does Smith throw it that hard. I mean never mind the revs. How does he throw his spare ball like 28mph??

I've never been a big fan of the two handed style, I feel like anyone could learn how to crank it get good at it and then dominate.

Smith's rev rate is probably higher than Delmonte....
@190averagebowler95 жыл бұрын
belmo's rev rate is about 577 rpms and robert smith's rev rate is at 600 rpms
@odellus5 жыл бұрын
there was a segment robert did with randy where they calculated his rev rate and he could only hit 600 if he put everything he had into it, which wouldn't have been conducive to accuracy or consistency for him. belmo was at or above 600 on his regular strike ball back then. jesper svensson has the highest average rev rate on tour now, and according to tim mack, jesper can hit 700 rpm on CATS when he full-hits it.
@douglasharris52165 жыл бұрын
odellus before Robert Smith went to the serge easter grip his revolution rate was calculated at 750, he was getting 26-27 revolutions on his strike ball at 22 mph.
