The story is quite complicated. I blame Game Science. In order to understand the story, not only do you need to know the lore of the book, but also the premise of BMW which shares the same background as a previous game made by Game Science's founder. The simplified version is that "heaven" has two factions, Buddhism and Taoism, and both are fighting against each other to secure sources of longevity because deities are not immortal. Long ago the Taoist faction won and kept the peach tree of immorality to themselves as well as the manufacturing of immorality pills (think of chapter four map as an ingredient farm for the pills and the yaoguais are the ingredients). Buddhist faction had to set up base elsewhere but found a way to have longevity through prayers of humans. In their quest to gain more prayers, they expanded their influence and killed anyone that went against them. One such country is the Yaksha country and when they massacred the entire country, the leader of the Taoist faction appeared in front of the Yaksha king who was holding the dead body of the Yaksha prince, and offered to reincarnate the prince. He did so by forcing his apprentice (the bull King's wife ) to drink from the River of Childbearing which is imbued with the soul of the dead prince. That's the origin of Red Boy in BMW (not actual book lore). As for the reason why: the boy will a living proof of the Buddhist faction's heinous crimes thus giving the Taoist faction a leverage. There is another part of the story that ties in with the book. I can elaborate if anyone is interested; but now you know the premise of BMW, the story becomes more interesting; especially chapter four and five.

I only beat Yaksha King due to a semi glitch lol. I tried to do my clones and he interrupted it.( yes I was pissed lol) I could hear them but they didn’t visual appear so I retreated to heal up …whelp the last bit of his health started going down and then he just died lol. Guess they were there just not visible to me.

Just got here. Died 4 times and called it a night lol. When he flies in the sky and does the kamikaze dive bombs its rough. But I embarrassingly died to the cart 3 times and got him stuck 1 time so I had to redo.
