You did a great job on these videos. Please make more. Sampling and master mode details. Or maybe just live situations. I used to own kurzweil keyboards and they always had a video that was a few hours long. I'd buy a video from you.

Hi. I have really enjoyed your videos, they are simple and straight to the point. I have been using performance mode for a very long time with just 4 voices controlled by the 1st 4 faders. In master mode or song mode, can i play up to 8/16 voices at a go? And can these 8/16 voices be controlled by the faders, just like in performance mode? If yes, can you please illustrate how that can be achieved. I would be very grateful to hear from you soon. Thank you.

How do you program scene 1-5 on external midi controller? Where do you get SYSEX values to switch scene 1-5? I need to switch arp on off 1-4 and scene 1-5 on fcb1010

great video! at this time i use motif xf ,with FW in cubase, as midi keyboard for my vst instruments from other libraries ( VSL) . is there a way to use all the nobs of motif for that. so far i managed to use 8 nobs ,with remote button ON in motif, but they work only on first 8 tracks in cubase . they are automatically assigned this way to cubase. is there a way to set up tracks in cubase that the same motif nobs could control more then just first 8 tracks?

I know this video is about 8 years old, but I still use the Motif XF live with my band, awesome keyboard. One thing about master mode that annoys me, what is the easiest way to re-order items in the master mode?, nobody I've asked, including Yamaha have an answer :(, help!

If I already operate Performance with Arpeggiator, is it possible to prepare master mode that affect only the sounds and let the arpeggiator keep on with current pattern?

Great tutorial series...the Yamaha MOTIF tutorials are in scarce supply, so great job and thank you!!! I know that there is a way to use Master Mode to remove limitation of only 4 voices in Performance mode for live playing...can you please elaborate on that? Thanks!

Pattern Mode is better for that.

I suggest to focus the camera on the keyboard demonstration rather than your face. Your voice can be heard either way.
