What I listened to was just amazing, I'd never expect a keyboard like this which is actually less expensive than the mid-level PSRs can sound so well. The most interesting bit about it is that SonicState only scratched the surface, there's certainly much more to be found under it's hood.

As always, an extremely satisfying and useful review. PLEASE keep doing them. :) Unsolicited opinion ahead: This does look like a nice all-in-one keyboard. ...I miss my old Yamaha EX5, and some patches here remind. ...That said, I did actually think the electronic offerings were relatively weak (compared to, say, Omnisphere, for a similar sampling-based VA feel). But if one were after a more orchestral and classical piano/EP feel, this strikes me as a potentially nice package.

How can I put a bass at the left side and piano sound at the right side.

Thank you for demonstrated some of the drum kits....other reviews were more focused on the piano sounds....wanted to see how this board would work for hip hop production...perhaps a video on editing the drum sounds would be great....I plan on using it with a korg electribe sampler.

Hi,just would like to ask you if you can change the chords on left hand while you are playing a melody on you right?Sorry don't know how to explain it properly:-) The cheaper keyboards like Yamaha DGX 620 have the function, you'll choose any rhythm and can change the chords...Do you know what I mean??:)) Thanks in advance

Hi, great video! Any chance you could help me out with my MOX6? The Owner's Manual approach on the metronome function is quite poor, I guess. To get to it, I had figure out myself that to reach the "SEQ" menu, you need to click the Perform mode. After that, no "Filter" and "Other" menus available as seen on the manual, only the [ CLICK ] menu. Needless to say, I couldn't change tempo, as there is not such function on the menu. I can send you dome pictures. Thank you very much!

I'm too considering the MOX ow Korg but the M50-73 instead. I can't decide on which one would be best because I don't live near any music stores and I have to buy used. The MOX seems to have a lot of helpful performance / composition / recording features that might make it a better deal for my music, which is solo original one-man-rock-band so built in accompaniment and performances along with ease of use in making up a song are very useful to me. Any help with a decision?

On every yamaha mox video I watch it's alot piano, strings etc.. I'm more into techno, trance, electronic type of music.. how does the MOX handle that kind of music? Also I'd love a video that goes indepth in pattern creation or type of programming, so far you're the one who got closest to that

Does anyone know the song at 1:41 to 1:46 (Solo Percussion AF2)?

well , im stuck between , the MOX6 and the korg pa600 , you can sample in the pa600 and make new sounds for ever it also has twice the polyphony than the MOX6 for those (holding the sustain pedal down build ups) , but the MOX6 is just really nice also ... but in the back of my head i think the Motif XF is the best choice even though its $ 2,500 because you can sample into that but it has all the power of the MOX and more ... hard choices

More sounds. Based on a newer version of the Motif.

I wish I had the $ for this. Motif XS sounds for a MO price! You can't beat it. And it weighs only 32 lbs which when you think about it, is like the size of a motif 61 key, I really want this!!

Can I create dubstep with this one? Can I use it with the Apogee Duet 2? Can you use it also without a computer and connecting a pair of headphones? :)

That screen is like straight out of 1995 :( I understand that synth tech is a few years behind on what you would find on mainstream gadgets, but even cheap-ass cell phones have color screens these days, for Christ's sake. Would anyone choose this over a Korg Krome?
