Yamaha Mt10 Comfort seat review
Some may find the stock seat uncomfortable, and if your like me , i was moving around a lot after around 30 mins to find a comfy part of the stock seat .
With this new Comfort seat from Yamaha, I rode all told around 1.5 hours and never moved a inch due to discomfort. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the review fella. I'm considering changing to the comfort seat. Rode with the stock seat for 4hrs the other day on a Sunday morning blast out to Matlock bath (Derbyshire uk) to say my backside was numb is an understatement, suffered the pain because the bike its self is just to good to stay off of. Cheers once again. :-)

Keira , thanks for stopping by and for your comments.. 👍 I was recently asked about this seat while out on a ride , so I swapped seats with the chap and after about 15kms I was ready to throw the stock seat back at him... The only thing that kept my grin was that sound of the cross plane engine and the acceleration! While the comfort seat is pricey, I think it's worth the money, however I have read the front edges where the seat meets the tank are known to wear thru.

The seat is quite hard, so the comfort seat would be a blessing. I'm saving for the Woolrich quickshifter next. Maybe the comfort seat will be the last mob. thanks for sharing.

I really like my comfort seat as well. I had my original recovered by Seat Concepts. Their seats are awesome and mine is another great offering by them, but the comfort seat is every bit as comfortable.

It is a comfortable seat, you do end up sitting higher. I also found the stock seat to be way better in the twisties.

Have you had the suspension set up done as well - I think getting the seat changed for the comfort version and doing a custom suspension tune would make this bike twice as good as it already is.

I bought one for my MT-09 and while its pretty comfortable it's also a bit too high...i wish it was made about an inch and a half lower..I only use mine on a very long ride

I find the stock seat quite comfortable but it would be nice if Yamaha would let you try the comfort seat for a day before buying. Thanks for uploading, definitely considering one.

I too admit that I too find the stock seat comfortable. This could also be due to the fact that I am used to a Harley seat *tailbone breaker*.

My sweetheart still has the stock seat on his, and it is awful for passengers as well. It has what I call "the Trump Bump", seeing as how it grabs me by the you- know-what every time we hit a bump😂

395 lol? can get this from Seat Concepts for 170, almost identical to this with orange stitches not sure if it fits for mt10 or if they have any.. but def better seating than yamahas -> seatconcepts.com/collections/yamaha/products/yamaha-2017-fz09-mt09
