I noticed all the water in your battery compartment. I had that issue once. This made me realize how important it is for depressurization of the scooter before underwater use to get a good vacuum seal of the battery cover. After pulling out some excess air, I then screw the bleeder cap on. I have not had a flooding problem since I made this a priority before each dive.

Hi, great. Thats exactly what I want to do. So it seems that you use a Battery in 4s4p configuration - this means 16,8V full charged. That is no problem for the elektronics of the scooter? Have you ever measured the Amps the motor needs at full speed in water? - Or in other words which BMS do you use. THX Christian

Na pełnej prędkości pod wodą bms wskazuje około 15 Amp. Mam tam baterię 4s5p 16.8 volt i wszystko działa.

Thanks for Information, I will order a 20A BMS. So runtime full speed with 4s5p should be about 1 hour ?

@@Chris0361K How did you get on? Did you add a similar battery pack to your own? If so what was the performance difference between this and the standard battery?

High @@SRHartley I made such a 4s4p Battery with Samsung 50E Cells and a BT Smart BMS. It fits the battery bay perfect. You just have to add balast cause LION bat is lighter than Lead/Acid. Concerning the performance: I bought the Yamaha with brocken Lead/Acid batteriy so I cant compare this. However, when I read reviews about the RDS200 there is always complaint about weak performance. For me, with 16Volts performance ist OK. Only thing that you have to mcare about: The RDS200 is not made for one more than 15-20min continous operation (in fact the range of the genuine battery) so the motor gets hot - you have regularly to take one eye on the BMS App at the Smartphone where you can read the temperature in the battery compartment. I don't operate the motor longer Than 15min w/o cooling pause. All in all the conversion to LION is perfect. Take care about water in battery compartment, carefully seal it with silikone-fluid and wrap battery in a waterproof plastic bag with waterproof plug.

Part 2? I have no idea what he is saying so im watching the video to get an idea of what he's doing and the results he gets. So I have no idea if this is/was a good or bad thing to do at the moment. LoL I want to try it but for all i know, its a video showing you why not to try it. Haha. And I can't find the second video.

Can anyone recommend any tutorials on how to make such a battery pack?
