Just a note on the adjustable windshield , I think that riders over 6 ft notice a slight improvement in buffering however, I added a windshield extension and that was a huge improvement .

While it might not win any beauty contests, it definitely outshines the KTM .. Every time I park my 9GT, I can't help but glance back and contemplate if it's time for just one more quick spin 🙂

I think the bike looks beautiful! Sporty looking and not too big. I will definitely be looking back at it. Especially after I put all the aftermarket products on it when I'm done.

@BikerTorque My wife and I are looking to buy this bike next month. From my experience with owning a 20' MT-10, I plan on adding different adjustable levers, chain tensioner blocks, a 520 conversion kit sprockets with a gold EK 520 3D GP chain. Replace the front screen from Yamaha that's taller and better shaped. And of course, frame and axle sliders. And a full Akrapovic exhaust system with the ECU flashed. Maybe other things as well but won't know until I have lived with the bike first. Once the stock tires wear down, will be changing them for Michelin Road 6"s.

I test rode a Tracer 900. One of my absolute favourite bikes. I wish I could have bought it. If the pillion comfort was adequate for us, I would have bought it.

Can't comment on the comfort of the pillion seat on this one, I think Tegan said it was OK, but she was only on it for about 20 minutes

Yamaha... I agree with the observation that a shaft drive would elevate this bike. Had a 2019 Tracer 900, have a 2022 Tracer 9 GT, would trade again if a shaft was available.

I would rather have the Tracer 7, considerably cheaper at $15,999 Australian pesos. Comparison video? But, if money didn't matter. . . well who knows.
@BikerTorque

Haven’t ridden the Tracer 7, but based on the engine, even though we really liked the MT07, both LAMS and HO, the triple from the Tracer / MT / XSR 9 range wins hands down. Total hooligan machine.

@@BikerTorque Fingers crossed you get a ride on one. After owning the S1000xr I couldn't resist the temptation of the M1000xr with the full 200+ h.p engine. I have a ducati streetfighter V4SP atm but the suspension is back breaking!

@@aligntrex700e the engine in that whole R, RR, XR range is superb and surprisingly for a 200+ HP bikes very easy to get on with. I’d have an M1000R in a heart beat, a) if I had the room in the garage, and b) if I had a spare $40K AUD floating around. Enjoy your new ride, fingers crossed we get one this year.
