Taking out Marys 2008 Yamaha VStar XVS 1100 With Cobra Exhaust. Wanted to see how loud they are. And yes the Yamaha VStar XVS 1100 With Cobra Pipes is loud! no questions. Thinking about cobra straights for my VStar 1100. It's a bike thing?. I catch he'll from my wife for having the radio turned off in the car. I like to hear my vehicle sounds, engine ,tires on road etc. Let5 me know of potential problems.

If I’m not mistaken, 08 09 was the last year they made the V stars I have an 07 that has cobra pipes and I’m about another month away from hitting the road your video just gave me the fever. I’ve also gotten the nice Harley comment. They definitely add a little rumble. From knowing what my bike sounds like I know what that bike. Sounds like the video just doesn’t do it justice. One more thing, killer bike bud

That VSTAR 1100 sounds really awesome. Reminds me of the 2004 VSTAR 1100 I had with the same type of exhaust. I can remember when I would pass by the Harley Shop on the Loop in Tyler Tx it would always get the other bikers attention. Nice bike as it had a gear wind that I didn't like and never got a chance to fix it or see if it could be fixed. Thanks for sharing.

Which type of Cobra pipes do you have on there & did you change the air intake stock box to pods under the gas tank? As I have an 03 VStar 1100 Classic with stock exhaust along with everything else stock on it & thinking of putting on Cobra or Vance & Hines exhaust.

My Harley has stock pipes and the sound is great. Sure can't do that on an electric bike. Yeah, the video does not do your sound justice. Hope Mary lets you keep riding her bike once yours comes out of the shop. Love the video.

we each have our priorities! It was randomly stalling. The think it may be a relay switch that's not functioning properly. So they have one on order. Should be here this week. 🤞🏻

@@michaelholmes4808 haha..i didnt think you were. and both the fuel and kickstand go through the same relay. So that's what they are replacing as that's what they are guessing the issue is. We are heading to Atlanticade at the end of the month so just want to be sure its all fixed by then.

I drilled out the stock pipes on my 1100 and it’s pretty loud, however it now backfires and runs like crap. Anyone do this mod? The lack of back pressure is likely the reason. I’m going to rebuild the carbs soon, and look into re-jetting them as well as getting rid of the stock air intake assembly

Like the ride video, i dont know if you are familiar with the brand Akrapovic i have that on my Gilera Fuoco 500 (look it up for pics) its a i cilinder 4stroke 500cc which is allowed to be driven with car liscence under certain conditions.

I just purchased a 2006 vstar 1100. I would like to know the brand the front fairing is. I am wanting that look but all the ones I see don't bolt with the windshield brackets the bolt on with little bars.

​@@gregtoopeI have Cobra mufflers on my bike and they do sound great. I wear earplugs for wind noise regardless of which bike I'm riding.
