Always loved the look and sound of the zx6r. Got to ride a 2021 at a demo recently. The engine was amazing, the handling was excellent. But the ergos were so painful, I couldn't daily one. At 6ft tall, my hips and legs were in pain after the 20 minute test ride

@@JRico831 In all honesty, after doing my research I think they’re just fine for the street. And it’s more so up to the rider at the end of the day if they’re ok with the ergos and what not. Even though the ZX6 is definitely the most comfortable of the super sport class I just put a emphasis on it being more of a track bike since anytime I even mention the street and a ZX in the same sentence to other people in places like Reddit I’m crucified immediately so I just dance around any dumb arguments at this point haha. But anyhow great bike! Let me know what you think too if you happen to see this comment.

@@JRico831 i can see where he's coming from. the posture, the angles, etcs are very aggressive and caused me fatigue after less than 2 hours. sold my cbr for a z900 and ive never been more comfortable on a "sports" bike

@@FoolishTunings I don’t like riding more than 20 or 30 minutes at a time to this day lol I get in a few good pulls and the adrenaline dump gets me so I hardly notice the ergos. If I were riding 2 hours straight for sure anything more upright would be a better choice you’re not meant to be comfortable on a sports bike you’re just meant to go fast lol if that’s not your main concern then the fully faired sport bikes will definitely have some drawbacks.

It's not ride by wire. That's why you can't easily add an autoblipper to it, because autoblip needs ride by wire. I had a 2020 ZX6R KRT Edition and it wasn't ride by wire...

I literally just traded in my R3 for the 2017 ZX6R with 2000 miles on it. ABS KRT edition!! Got it with the r-77 Yoshi exhaust. Sounds absolutely amazing!!!! I can’t explain how happy I am with it. Looks just like the one in this video.

I did my friends SV650 valves at 55000 miles after a wreck at the track. First time doing valves and they were magically in spec. He had the bike for over 20k miles without checking them as well so who knows how long they have been in spec.

I was shown one of these when I went into a kawasaki dealership shopping for my first bike. Not big bike. Just bike. I had asked to see a ninja 650 (i know, i know...) and the sale rep decided to take me to see this beautiful ZX6R. I was sold on the looks but not the seating postion for a first bike. Would love to see this bike compared to the RS 660. They're CLEARLY not in the same segment as I truly believe the RS 660 is the beginning of an entirely new Supersport category (insert new category name here). Doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see how they compare both around town and on the highway because let's be honest...As much as we all joke about guys touring on these kind of bikes, that's just what lots of us do in Canada where there isn't a race track to be found anywhere close to home !

Most people that ride sport bikes don't ever ride track at all. So many people say take it to the track. Reality is track riding gets really expensive and most can't afford it.
