Heyy! I wanted to clarify something: I didn't make the copyright strike or the reddit posts. Cameron did that for "me" after Alex told me to retract my statements. Cam didn't know that I was being manipulated behind the scenes, so I don't blame him at all. Thank you so much for that informational section of your video, it made me reflect on a lot of past relationships irl and online. Me and Cam have some views on Alex that not a lot of people can understand. Cam understands what was going on and he apologized to me for blindly following Dev and not understanding that I was a victim. I also personally believe that he was groomed, but it isn't my place to confirm that.. I have told Ally and Arcee that I think his situation is similar to Adam's. You make the best videos on Alex, everyone should watch them instead of Muta or those reddit reaction youtubers who are spreading misinformation.

@@Breadstockimage I think it can be a mental illness, but not always. Some people simply don't care, and will keep going until they're in jail or dead. Some people have some screwed up internal justification for it, while some are just straight up predators that act more like animals than humans. You can't label every evil as a mental illness, nor can you fix someone that doesn't want to be fixed. Because while "it's not a crime if you don't get caught" is usually a joke, some people legitimately think that way. I think Yandere Dev is just a generally awful guy. He doesn't have some mental problem that makes him who he is, he just has a garbage personality and a massive ego. I believe in reform as much as the next guy, but you can't medicate the evil out of someone like Yandere Dev.

As someone who has been groomed in my past, I’m so glad that Alex’s actions are finally catching up with him, however I will say that I think it shouldn’t have taken this long and the way the situation was handled was EXTREMELY out of wack. I watched a video about 4-5 years ago about Alexs behavior. As a kid being told what he was actually doing saved me. I forgot the video name and the person but they talked about the hate and shame video and I can say I was manipulated by that video before I watched them break down the issues of it. It's scary knowing how a grown man said what he was saying with people who were barely over 13 in his audience. He wanted literal children to protect him and that's appalling to me now. It's disgusting how he surrounded himself with children just so he couldn't be held accountable

Yep, that video. I tried looking for it, but it doesn't appear to be on his channel anymore. That video was actually my breaking point before everything began to unfold. Because of personal experience, the way the whole video played out was bone-chillingly manipulative and set off many red flags. Telling us a story and telling us to imagine the turmoil of it all, and asking what would you do? Then, revealing that the character we were following was him. I felt like I was being toyed with watching it, and I can only imagine the number of viewers who supported him before even knowing the full context. Absolutely horrible individual.

Hearing about Jane’s and possibly Cameron’s situation really reminds me of my own experience with grooming. Particularly the lengths in which i was willing to go in order to not upset them, defend them, and justify my friendship with them. If Cameron is in that situation, which I’m not here to speculate on, I definitely feel for him. That need of validation and fear of losing it can cause you to do bad things, even when you know it’s wrong. And sometimes, it does take something extreme to really shake you out of it. I stopped supporting Yandere Simulator around 2021 not only because I realised just how creepy a lot of the games stuff and features were(such as having two of the rivals being adults and are lusting over a 18 year old and taking pictures up girls skirts) but Alex had always been proven to be a creep who did not deserve the support he got I wouldn't be shocked if this is the final nail in the coffin for the game and it'll finally be cancelled. Alex has a trend of hiring underage “volunteers” because they rarely understand the compensation they should be getting for their skills. He literally had someone fully prepared to make him new models for the game in the persona style he wanted, but all she asked was to be credited. He wouldn’t even do that. And I’m terms of Cameron, while I do pity him as he was driven to the point of tears because of the pressure put on him by Alex, he did say some rather terrible things to people. I was homeschooled through my middle school years and I did wanna say- I have autism, and being put into a homeschooling environment really damaged my ability to learn proper communication skills, making me introverted and socially averse through a lot of my teenage years as a whole. However, bad communication does not mean you're gonna say something fucked up outright, and even if you do, there should be an easy way to clarify what you actually meant. One time I accidentally implied that it'd be funny if a pro-gun person began committing crimes with guns, when I was trying to point out the irony that pro-gun people claiming to want to prevent criminal violence are more prone to criminal violence themselves. (Still not a good thing to imply as that's stereotyping, but I'm more making the point that statements autistic people try to make can be communicated poorly and interpreted as much worse than they actually are.) This is blatantly not the case in Yandev's statements, where he, SEVERAL TIMES, makes defenses and excuses for child attraction, or argues in favor of allowing adults to sexualize minors. If it was a simple miscommunication then it wouldn't be repeated as often as it has, and him using "oh im just bad at communication" as an excuse infuriates me as someone who's struggled with communication for all their life, even before homeschooling. Being autistic, homeschooled, or otherwise bad at communicating is NOT a defense for the things he's directly said on multiple occasions, nor the things he's done. Fuck that.

I was still a kid when I watched "Hate and Shame". I'm an adult now, and It's actually insane to me at just how good he was at shaping himself as the ultimate victim, to tug on the heart strings of myself and many other kids who had watched that video. As a kid I felt so awful for him, as I'd dealt with a lot of my own abuse in the home and I felt like I could somehow relate to this guy's "public execution" of being bullied everywhere for seemingly no reason. Of course I was going to feel guilty for him, it sounded so horrible that without a reason given he was being targeted on every platform and was even hinting to having depression because of it. In reality, He knew exactly what he was doing, the way he shaped the entire video from top to bottom with "Let's Say"'s, and made his stupid little avatar's look like they were crying. As much as I understand why the people who volunteered to work on Yandere Simulator, I wished that this situation wasn't the breaking point. As an ex-fan of YanSim since 2018, there were a lot of things that I wished that I didn't let slide, and I'm happy that I dropped the support as soon as I did. There have been many accusations (WITH EVIDENCE MIND YOU) of Alex being an outright terrible person. The fact that someone, a sixteen year old, has been emotionally manipulated shouldn't have been the only reason why you should've withdrawn support from him. The reason why this drama is heartbraking to watch is because the evidence is there, and yet the people who worked alongside him refused to do anything until someone was actually hurt by his actions.

on one hand I love the idea of Artist Tree, planting more trees and creating forests. on the other hand I do think there should be some dedication to replanting more than just trees. grasslands and scrublands need love too, particularly as a lot of native grasses have been replaced by those we use to make yards look "well kept". Yandere Simulator was a game that I have been a fan of for many, many years. But the fact that it is only NOW when I am realizing how much of a scummy person YandereDev is makes me feel embarrassed of having been a fan of the game. Yandere Simulator was a good concept with a lot of potential, but unfortunately, it was on the hands of the wrong person.

This is just the one time the volunteers (P.M., Michaela, etc.) chose to care about it because this time they were receiving direct negative feedback on their own pages. But all the instances prior? Never heard a peep from any of them. Michaela said she largely helped him make 1980s mode as well as many other aspects of the game, in addition to her VA work. I like the volunteers, but it's just sad to see good people choosing to ignore these blatant traits over a project they aren't even paid for participating in. Especially Mikki, who always seemed passionate against this sort of thing.

I'll be honest, after watching the victim's podcast and all info from both sides, I'm very nervous and confused. I am just a year older than the victim, and I find it so shocking to hear her perspective on all of this. Personally I grew up watching yandere sim videos at the age of 8, along with shane dawsons content, and just overall horrible things online that were targeted toward a child audience. I always felt strange describing my experience watching this content growing up because it felt like I was never directly a victim of grooming or anything. But I was desensitized to gore and sexual content as a child which I feel has the same effect on a child as grooming. Being desensitized to that sort of content made me sort of romanticize and glorify the stuff shane dawson said and the content of yandere simulator. I also used to roleplay, I downloaded the app Amino, which was just full of child predators. I joined a few amino groups related to the games I liked at the time including yandere sim, so as a child who was just interested in the game I met adults who were interested in the game for the strange content and used the same weird justifications of the age of the consent to enjoy the game as alex did. Through some strange extent I was also a victim of grooming through alex, and so was every other child who grew up with that content growing up, and we don’t ever see it that way unless we are personally victims of his behavior as jane was.

Personally, I think all social media that has a dm system should require you to enter your age when making an account, and if you’re a minor the system wouldn’t allow them to dm adults and vice versa. Yes either side could lie about their age, but then most of the blame would fall onto them in that case because the opposite side wouldn’t be aware of the lie in the first place. However I am glad Alex’s victim is safe and out of a situation that never should have happened and that they realized what was really going on and told people. That takes a lot of courage.
