Assalamu alaykum, May Allah reward you for your good work, please I have a question that does not relate to this video but it has been a question I needed an answer for since the commencement of the lockdown in my country and now Ramadan. I have watched your series on Qiyamul Layl when you described the 4 rakaat after the 2 voluntary prayers that we usually observe after Ishai. Now that we pray from home and are expected to pray Taraweeh, how can we still observe and benefit from this 4 rakaat or will Taraweeh prayer offers us a substitute?

If the hardest you can strike a cat is with cotton wool, how then can you interpret the verse in question as physically striking/ hitting your wife? Islam teaches us to restrain and forgive Alhamdulillah 🤲

ASA I find it weird when people cite a verse but don't give the full translation. I'm specifically curious about "وبث منهما رجالا كثيرا ونساء". I heard in one khutbah that I attended, somebody talking about nature as "هما" in his quick translation, with nobody else questioning him afterward... To me, this is problematic and this is a verse I'm curious about... We read about "الحواريون" in juz 6, and I'd like an explanation to this ayah as a table of food for me and probably a lot of the ummah. Or, if somebody has a good video explanation to reference, I'd really appreciate it as a reply here.

I'll paste in the answer to myself that I commented on the next video as an answer to this comment here, here: JAK, aH the reflection from Sheikh Abdullah about ابني ادم sheds light on 4:1 for me, from the previous juz... Really gotta pay attention when we read the Qur'an... The historic event in 5:27 wasn't about بني ادم... It was about two of Adam AS's sons, dual form. Then the crow coming down and showing the other brother what to do makes 4:1 make a lot more sense, since we are, as the qur'an literally tells us, بني ادم.
