fantastic work, and you dont necessarily have to wanna go to your shop right now and make one of these to appreciate it. the real value in many of these videos is not always the specific design, but the inventiveness and application of design/engineering solutions. just one example of many: the way sandpaper is spiraled onto the drum so you can use standard flat sandpaper. thank you for your work

Brilliant sanding station, very useful ... a few suggestions if you don't mind ..... 1) I'd change the belt sander implementation to save having to remove the side to change belts ...create a box section which attaches to the drum sander side, with the rollers mounted at each end of the box section 👍 2) A possible improvement ... have the disc and thickness drum on the same shaft where the disc is at the moment, mount the motor down on the main bed (under where the drum is at the moment), meaning you could have the drum table running near horizontally above the motor and under the drum 👍

Yes, fantastic. But also pretty dangerous, with the open drive belt, and 3 machines running at the same time. That's accidents waiting to happen, it's just a matter of time. I also wonder how you change the sandpaper, when it's glued on.

Beautiful! Some necessary improvements. 1. Bugger the wifi app. Should have a manual and safety stop switch. 2. Install a lock nut on the belt tensioners plus a centering adjuster on the belt sander.

This is a great project. I have one question though. The horizontal cylinder one doesn't have a quick and practical sand paper change process. Think that you used 60 one and now you want to continue with 100. The 60 sandpaper still has life in it. So you don't want to ruin it. What will you do? Rip off the 60 one and reapply a 100 sandpaper? Or have 10 cylinders with different grade sandpapers? This start to become impractical. I am not a woodworker or any kind of expert. I just want to start a hobby and couldn't find a practical way to use the cylinder sander. Does anyone have an idea?
