It took me 6 minutes of this video to realize that your books are on one of those metal invisible shelves and that you are not, in fact, a wizard who was pulling them Jenga style out of a free-standing stack, even though I’ve watched your other videos and knew you had a shelf like that 🤦‍♀️ Do I need more sleep? Possibly. Do I love your videos? Yes. Always.

I also love to get rid of things. It makes me happy to donate things to different organizations but I do struggle to part with my books. However you have inspired me to unhaul some books because I have way too many that I don’t need. The struggle is real 😬

I love giving clothes away. Oleg and I are constantly ridding our hangers, so the next step was to get rid of the bookies (Oleg is also happy that I'm not stacking them around the apartment anymore)

I built a Little Free Library, and it really amped my desire to share books I own with other readers. And someone recently shared a video of dropping off wrapped books to LFLs, as a Blind Date with a Book thing. That looks like fun.

How easy is this- 😁love it. I used to own many books I didnt really loved and gave them away and sold them. Nowdays I read mostly from the library and I have found gems there which later I get to be part of my now personal small collection. I think only what one really loves and would re-read is worth keeping. I love the public library as a place to find underrated books. Love your shelf, its cool😍💜
@AnaWallaceJohnson

I definitely agree with that. I think if I stumble across a rare or unique cover, I'll consider keeping it. Other than that, my tastes evolve so quickly that I can't fathom keeping things that aren't 'me' anymore

That John Updike book's cover and typeface reminds me of all those Christopher Pike books from the 80s and 90s. And that King Lear purple.... makes me want to eat purple candy. What is going on? hahah. Yes! That Pink cover is very 90s/2000s UK cinema. It made me think of Late Night Shopping (Saul Metzstein, 2001) and Cashback (Sean Ellis, 2006).
