Ahh I love that palette! People always say ColourPop dupes itself all the time, but if you look really closely, it really doesn't dupe itself. I've seen somewhat similar colors, but that's it. Im starting a new ColourPop collection, and I can't decide what's going to be my second palette purchase. I really like that Aurora palette.

Pretty Please is my vibe. I think its super beautiful. However, I have the Smoke & Roses palette. I kinda wish Pretty Please came out before Smoke & Roses because I'd prefer a smaller palette especially since Pretty Please has the colors I basically want in a palette. I dont want or need the extra, ya know, because I dont use all the shadows in bigger palettes. So it tends to be wasteful.

Deanna Hayden: Solution: Buy an Empty Magnetic Eyeshadow Makeup Palette the size you desire. De-pot the colors you want from the existing palette and put them in the magnetic palette. Look up Hannah Louise Poston's channel, she does it all the time.

I am so glad that I have found your channel this year. You definitely helped me save money with alleviating my feeling of FOMO with eyeshadow palettes. I have a pretty “small” palette collection with only 13 palettes however, I do have that Flutter By palette in my collection plus I also have the Huda Beauty Rose Quartz that have those mauve-y tones as well. This is the first Colourpop eyeshadow palette that caught my eye in a couple years and now that I’ve seen this video, it’ll be easier for me to pass this one up. Thank you so much!

Thank you for the comparisons, Jen! I can see why to many people Flutter By and SCF would seem very similar to this palette, but for me the difference between them actually makes a difference. Pretty Please has the cool tones I wanted both of those other palettes to have (but they didn't). I've just placed an order for the Aurora Struck palette so this will have to wait until next year but I'm definitely picking it up a bit later. Might also try the cheek dews, and the colour sticks have some very enticing shades as well.

Flutter By is one of the very few CP palettes I've actually purchased. I love it BUT have always avoided so many shades in it because they're too deep for what I'm comfortable with wearing. This Pretty Please palette looks like it could be the accompanying palette of my dreams 🥰 I have been trying to convince myself to get Stone Cold but it's like you say, it has more brown/grey cool tones and I'm a sucker for the dusty mauvey purpley pink cool tones. LOVE this palette! 💜

I jsut bought this palette from Ulta! It’s funny because I used to not like colourpop’s pressed eyeshadow formula, but now that they are at target I tried some recently. To me they improved the formula a lot! I can’t stop buying them now because I like how curated they are. I have so many beautiful single shadows from indie brands but I realized it’s harder for me to reach for and organize single shadows.

Its so pretty. I have not really purchased that much makeup this year thanks to seeing dupes that I already have. Oooh! This is exactly my favorite color story. I have Sydney Grace singles that I might be able to dup it but usually with ColourPop, the price is good enough that unless the shadows are very poor quality (not their usual) and I know I have all the colors, it is worth picking up.

Wow, another palette, I LOVE it, but I am not sure what to think- these launches are so fast. Just makes the palette feel a little less special to get. Not sure why - all psychological! I guess I am thinking that it feels like SO much one after another. But from what I am reading and seeing, the quality is not less (I think having things so fast sometimes cheapens things to me), but haha, didn't Aurora just come out? I guess this is normal for color pop? My brain is trying to get used to this and it isn't working, lol. I am back / new to the beauty world since social media, trying to get a feel for it all.

Jen I'm trying to find a pretty cream blush in a berry color. I asked you about the Persona cream blushes and you said they are greasier so would you prefer the profusion liquid blushes? I'm thinking about trying profusion sangria blush or Persona jam blush. Which do you like the best?

What is your skin tone, are you more fair like me or a bit deeper? Because both of these blushes are super pigmented and while I love the texture of the Profusion Sangria blush it's super easy to overdo it...almost to the point where I get nervous to pull it out and use it. I like that it dries down all the way though! My favorite berry toned blushes are the Moira Love heat cream blush in I Like You, and Milani Cheek Heat in Merlot Moment. But those aren't quite as deep as what you mentioned so it depends on your skin tone.
