This is why when fallout 4 tried to do the same gameplay function (or being the unkillable last option for completing the main quest) with Garvey it didn’t work, because the whole joke of yes man’s character was him being this robot who couldn’t say no. When you translate that into a normal person it just makes the character look incredibly dumb and the game look inconsistent.

@@CallMeMimi27 From the gameplay side of things, yes. But unlike Falout 3 or 4, New Vegas is an RPG, you know, a *Role Playing* Game. So the Yes Man ending is basically wahatever you imagine your character to do after the battle of Hoover Dam as head of an idependent New Vegas. Gameplay-wise, they had to make sure that you can't fail the main quest, so it's impossible to do so with the Yes Man ending. Even if you make every faction in the game hate you. Quite the clever writing, if you ask me.
