"DON'T DECIEVE YOUR FREE WILL AT ALL, JUST RECIEVE IT" - Did you pick up on how the band members all turned into animals that seemed to be attacking him? B/C he was headed down the wrong path. The top of the roof was, the only way out, jump. It was a vision, a nightmare, a memory. Then at the end he's back in real life & he honors the vision/nightmare/memory & changes his DIRECTION. I friggin' ADORE this band!

Leo, back when MTV was music, there were two kinds of videos. One where the band is just playing, and another that was a mini movie that usually didn't even have anything to do with the song. They decided to do both. Lol. I forgot about that with this video. If you're still reading, I have a suggestion for you. When you decide to do a reaction, let the video play all the way through first with auto play off. Don't listen to it, or watch it. Just go do something else. When it's over and you come back, just move the slider back to the beginning and it might all be cached on your computer. If there are commercials in the video, doing this will take care of that too. They won't play the second time through.

Okay. Yes - “Roundabout” Yes - “I’ve Seen All Good People” “Owner of a Lonely Heart” was produced by Trevor Horn. He also produced a ton of other stuff of which Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose” was one. Trevor Horn is also the guy with the big round glasses in the Buggles “Video Killed the Radio Star”. He also was a founding member of Art of Noise. Significant Art of Noise tunes: “Close (to the Edit)” - there’s a fantastic live version with him playing base, but the official video is also an experience to watch. “Paranoimia”, featuring Max Headroom “Peter Gunn”, featuring Duane Eddy and the video features Rik Mayall (from the tv shows The Young Ones and Bottom, and the movie “Drop Dead Fred”) (1986) “Dragnet” (1988) “Kiss” the Prince song done by Tom Jones

There's a reason YES is considered one of the first "SUPER" Bands in the early 80's. When everyone is a friend & at the absolute top of their game at the same time, then say F' it lets make an album that shakes the very foundation of the Rock/Studio world all at once & have a blast doing it. YES is one of those groups.

They actually did this song with Steve Howe (!) and Jon walked around the crowd slapping hands at the boards. When he got to me, I gave him the Soul Brother Shake. No slapping hands for me! I babysat a lot and never minded staying up late because that meant I could watch it. If the kids were old enough, meaning not babies, I always let them stay up too. You couldn't turn on the radio in 83-84 without hearing this song. They have dozens of great songs, "Close to the Edge" is probably their opus magnum. "Roundabout" was hugely influential on the rock scene. E.L.P. used the intro from Roundabout in their song "From the beginning" which is another song/band you should react to. "Starship Trooper" and "I've seen all Good People" are other great Yes songs that had a lot of radio play time.

Yes opens up a whole universe of very different songs and styles. For many veteran Yes fans, their "big time" ends with the beginning of the 80s. All of the old songs are really great. (I love the 1973 live album Yessongs). But the newer albums are also full of songs that are worth listening to. Even those who miss the "epic" long songs: with "Mind Drive", "That That Is", "New Language" or "Fly From Here" (e.g.) there is also a lot of material.

In seriousness, born in 1980 as I was, this song was all over the charts and thus the radio when I was a toddler. My parents had several bar bands and they covered this sometimes during practice in the basement. This later version of the band was my first exposure to Yes and finding out the older stuff was just as popular at the time blew my mind when I got older and became a musician myself. Definitely check out Roundabout, even if every other reaction channel has also done the song. It's that good. Totally worth it.
