Thank you so much for singling out this great section of Johnny Harris' album. In my opinion, it's even better without the edits. But that is a matter of personal opinion, I suppose. However, as Johnny Harris' wife, I am compelled to point out that the tittle of this youtube entry should read: Johnny Harris with guests, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe and Alan White. That's actually how it rolled out.

SO true Laura. I was very privileged to work on this album with Johnny and co wrote some (small parts) of the sections with him. Although Jon Anderson and the band 'Yes' had an input, the real star was Johnny and the recording engineers at Advision Recording Studios in London. It was a fantastic experience to work with him.

I have this album. Bought it back in 1973. It was recorded in 'Audio Fair' quality. This track has been edited. J. Harris had invited White, Anderson & Howe to play on a couple of tracks. All 3 featured on this tune. Other 'Rock' musicians had also featured along with his orchestra. It's a decent album overall.

A, H, and W are only on this one track.

peter mcintyre I've also had this album since '73 or '74, thanks to the nearest record store that carried all the current import LPs of the day. I often used to include an edit I made of this track on various Yes compilation tapes. I'm sure I wasn't the only one to do so, but it was fun to turn friends onto this over the years. Also, this record shop was the same place I went to pick up the newly-released "Relayer" album the night before the New Haven Coliseum show of 12/10/74 when I couldn't find it anywhere else. It was magical time for us Yes fans back then...oh, the anticipation!

I seem to recall a session player by the name of Chris Spedding

@Bitterblogger It's been edited to get to John Andersons vocal and Howe's Geetar solo.

I have never heard this, thanks! Lovely but I like to think everything is better with Chris Squire :) I like your photo montage also.

The part that starts at 3:25 sounds a lot like a part that Jan Akkerman plays in Focus's Hamburger Concerto.. but this is earlier. Perhaps I hear things not good but a lot of similarities

Johnny Harris, Jon Anderson, Steve Howe and Alan White! No Chris Squire, nor Rick Wakeman!

In addition; the late Martin Rushent, engineered the recording, hence why it sounds SO good.
