This 30-minute cardio walking workout will strengthen your heart and cardiovascular system while building strength in your body overall. The exercises are done in 30 second blocks with 15 seconds of rest. It's about 2000 steps, more or less depending on your pace.
Perfect for seniors and beginners. This is one of our longer workouts so go at your pace, and rest if you need it.

I am 63 and grotesquely out of shape which is of great concern to my family and myself. Your videos have brought so much to my life and I can’t thank you enough for making them. They are perfect for seniors and beginners. This 30 minute workout is my favorite and then the cool down video. I can’t keep up yet, but I will eventually, then my goal is to add 1lb weights until I can do the exercises correctly and keep up, then go to 2lb and so on and so forth. So happy I found this!!! I am almost mid 50’s but have chronic back and neck pain. After working 90 hrs weekly, just don’t have time or energy for the gym. Thank you so much!!! Maybe with this video daily and eating healthy, I can lose those 50 horrible pounds!! 🙌🏻🫶🏻

Just tried your 30 minute walking workout. Really liked it. I tend to go all out and end up with an injury so liked that I stayed within my recommended heart rate and my body feels good and like it worked. We are in lockdown in uk can go for a daily excercise outside once a day. I’m not a senior but I have bad knees due to numerous dislocations and find your videos much easier and gentler to do. I’ve noticed when I do go for walks every few days I can now walk faster than I was Thank you for al, you are doing. When we get out of this madness I’m going to continue with your video’s as they are a great help to me.

regards and love. this is my second comment and first request, the only video i can watch and exercise is this one , i watch and exercise with this daily. the gaps in here are best suited for a person over 70 and beginners, in others gaps are longer. Please modify the gaps in a few of your videos to suit my group. Thanks a lot

Im not a senior yet quite yet either, but with 2 back surgeries these are so doable for me and the core strength exercises are just what the Dr ordered especially with our Midwestern winters when I can’t get outside all the time. Your videos are a real blessing for me. I am 80 years old, and I can't keep up with most of the walking videos I have tried. I've crippled myself up a few times, so I appreciate your encouragement to go at my own pace. 2/27/24: Very good workout! I had to stop taking NSAIDs, and it is hard to know what is too much for my knees. I made it through this video, and I wil come back to this again. I will ask at my next appt about seeing a PT to make sure I’m strengthening my legs to support my knees. Thanks April and Aiko!

I’m grateful for this channel because I’m a really obese 27-year old and haven’t been exercising for the past couple of years, so joining a gym/ going to a trainer feels wry intimidating. Going through these exercises helps me work up a sweat without becoming completely out for the count, and I’m hopeful that I can gently build up my stamina this way in order to prepare for more rigorous exercise in the (near) future. I’ve prepared a couple of playlists for myself, each containing your warm-up > one workout > cool-down videos so that it’s just a matter of me putting a playlist on and following it for my day’s routine. One video idea: you could speak on what sort of exercise schedule can be followed during the week (e.g. cardio on Monday, core exercises on Tuesday etc.) and suggest a corresponding video for each day. It could be an interesting playlist idea as well! I’m aware of your 7-day playlist, but this was more from the perspective of arranging your already-existing video library into some sort of order that can be followed day-after-day. I for sure could use that order to begin with! Thanks once again for this video, and looking forward to more content from you!

Happy 2023 April and Ika. I want to thank you. I am 73, have had some challenges of late. It is a blessing to have your workouts available on KZbin. I love the mom daughter interaction. I’m 80 years old. This workout came in handy since I can’t walk because of weather. Heart rate went from 50 up to 88. Looks like about 3000 steps, so about a mile. I usually walk about 7600 steps. Good workout with arms and weights.

I'm 69 and have worked out at the gym five days/week for my entire adult life. But now that I have arthritis in my spine and hips I've had to change my approach to cardio. This low-impact session is fantastic for me. It doesn't cause me pain or injure me, and depending on how I feel each session I can speed up or slow down. Thank you so very much. This is a life changer!

I did all the exercises, and felt great, but at my own pace. I have bad knees ( arthrosis) and could you do some exercises for that?, I cannot bend my knees too much. I would like to see a workout only for bad knees, please. Thanks.

This is my favorite walking video and I start my day with it without fail. I like the variety of steps with measured time. I love the banter between the two of you so much and the thoughtful way you guide your Mom in her steps. At times, while following your directions, I almost feel like we are in actual same space and like you can watch my own activity. That is such a personal touch. I am so grateful to have found you. I am the same age as your Mom so I don't feel like I am age clumsy when I see her have a little trouble at times keeping up. I just love both of you. I would love it if you could make a session including rhythmical music to keep the steps to music and to have the length of the walk to get to 1 mile walk. Of course, if you do not make this for special request, your tapes are best of what I have found on line for people my age.
