Dash cams have problem in summer time with heat, running in parking mode with windows closed turning off as low as 80f outside, dash cams need to be able to run at least 180f at minimum

That's a good point. I personally haven't used "parking mode" but what I experienced was the summer of 2017, I had 2 micro SD cards failed on me and I now realized that high endurance cards are a must on dashcams... Since, I switched, I had no issues of them turning on after parked in the heat.

Could you check to see if you can read license plates off the rear view cam from other moving vehicles which are driving fast than you. (meaning vehicles over taking) On my black vue this isn't possible, at the moment.

Yes, it does but it depends also on how fast they are moving.

The new Ring stick up cam is on order and will review when it comes in. As to the indoor Blink camera, that is Blink's first camera and has been released for a while.

So to transfer the videos to ur phone u need wifi so if u are on the road u can't do it? U need to. Be close to home so u can e able to use wifi and down load videos

No.. WiFi is not necessarily internet..the dash cam generates its own WiFi signal which your phone connects to..

The Yi has an internal battery and not a capacitor. I have used it though in summer time without issues.

For the set time/date, I accidentally set it to the year 2030, how can I reset it to 2019? The year only goes foward when I try to set it back
