Just back here to say again that I SWEAR BY THIS ROUTINE .... on occasion I skip periods due to hormone imbalance. WITHOUT FAIL ... after a few days of doing this when my period is late, it comes... every time. I was adamant to keep to natural methods and not take any pills as advised by my dr. This really works! I tried it along with other techniques that I found here on youtube, such as pressing points on my body, listening to music or meditation. I also ate C vitamin and drank a lot of water. I started in the morning and in 8 pm got my period! I cannot be happier! I missed my period for 3 weeks and now it finally came back!

@@AvaKC not one hundred percent sure but have had all the scans and tests needed to check there is no underlying problem. Nothing wrong so dr put it down to hormone imbalance. I have been like clockwork my whole life so this was unexpected. Dr wanted me to get the coil fitted which I refused. Then they suggested the contraceptive pill but I already started the yoga and excersizing more regularly which worked. Also cleaned up my diet more no major crazy dieting but just sensible choices. Now my period is back monthly. Its still little irregular but most importantly is that am getting a period each month. X

Wooohoooo! Period started today after day 3 days of this yoga, I have been doing it every morning repeated ×2 along with walking more (4kms a day) and started to spot immediately - today I got a proper flow. Im sure the walking helped too but the spotting only started after the yoga. I had missed last 2 months period which has only happened once before about a year ago. At that time I had all checked with scans, histology etc and all tests came back clear. My doctor wanted to put me on the pill/coil to regulate things but I was determined to do this the natural way as it has only happened twice in 2 years, and this has worked! Definitely do this! Whenever I get a little stressed, my period is out of the place (up to 22 days late with PMS the whole time). I've waited to try this routine several times and can confirm it is amazing... One to two times and my period is back on track the following day! I'm sooo grateful Allanah! 🌷

From the very start I knew that finding your video would help me a lot, and it led me to other helpful videos too! I did this for few weeks, as well as the other yoga practices and reflexology videos I found and it worked! Got my period after 3 months of praying, waiting and even crying while doing every practice haha. Haven't had my period in two months (almost three months now) , even though I was regular for about the last 3 year (currently I am 16). Insha Hafeez It is very normal for teenagers to have irregular periods. Don’t worry! Do this video & spot jogging with some hot tea. If you stop thinking about your period, it’ll come eventually. However, i would suggest you to go to doctor to see if you have any problems with your body.

i havent gotten my period naturally for two months , i had to induce it via pills but this time i wanted to not take pills anymore . so i tried this yoga and at first i was skeptical of it working, because i had been doing a 30 day yoga challenge which had a lot of similar poses, but this oh my god i did it in the morning and i got my period by noon. mind freaking blown.

I read in a yoga book that sun salutations should not be performed during the onset of menstruation. So it's surprising for me to see that sun salutation is being recommended to be performed during the period of delay in menstrual cycle.

Absolutely, they should not. However, this is not a video to practise during menstruation, but one to re-regulate menstruation. Two entirely different things.

Maybe this yoga also helped me to bring back my periods, im late for about 1 month, what i did is this for a week(actually i skipped some days,coz im lazy,lol) and then i drink 1,020mg Vitamin C per day and also a vitamins which contains Iron. my period came as in today. Originally didn’t have my period for around 7 months after stopping bc, but then I got one last month (February) after visiting the doctor for clarification. They told me to just monitor it for the next three months but I didn’t get one this month, but I’m going to try this in hopes that it will help. I’ll reply back with an update, wish me luck 😬

Dear Allanah, thank you so much for your inspirational videos! I've been recovering from anorexia and haven't, had my period for One and a half years and i was Also diagnosed with osteoporosis. I've manager to gain some weight recently but am still about 4 pounds away from what i had when my body was last able to menstruate. Hi Sarah, thank you so much for your honesty in sharing your story. I do think it will help. Yoga is very good for weightbearing, just take it very easy with the osteoporosis. This Yoga in particularly is good for rebalancing hormones. Dont practice more than once a day and no more than 6 days a week. It could take many months , it rule of thumb is one month for every year that you’re body has been unbalanced. Good luck honey xxx

You're welcome Clark. usually takes about three months, however you will see from the comments, that often it will happen before that, as long as there are no extenuating circumstance - pof, menopause etc

Note: you do have to practise this class more than once. Some people - that's all it takes but i recommend three months of dedicated practice.

Why would you practise it before you’r period? It’s for absent periods. Stop doing it.

I just started this today it’s been since feb that I’ve had a period (not pregnant) I use to be regular when I took birth control and I was on birth control from 15-24 years old so my body I think is trying to ply catch up. Idk.

No, you followed it properly lovely. Its a power flow. So you begin at one end of the mat, start with a sun salutation favouring the right leg - come through trikonasana on both sides - to the other end of your mat where you continue the sun salutation favouring the left. Hey, first day trying this video hoping I get my period soon thank you so much for the vid🙏🏼🙏🏼 haven’t had it for just over 5 months now, I’m 14 and used to get a lot of injuries from over doing yoga and was wondering if this video would still work well because I do strenthening exercises 2 times a week ( back and hamstring) is it still okay for my body to do that and this video?? Note: I have limited myself a lot to only 2-3 times a week now I used to do weights as well which I realise now was wayyyyyy to much stress on my poor body :( thanks again 💙🙏🏼🙏🏼x

YogaYin thanks for your reply! They haven't always been this way, just after having children; I have two and would like more. Just had my hormone level checked, all normal and ultrasound revealed a small cyst on my left ovary. I have no pain. I personally feel like my hormones maybe out of check because for months on end I would go to bed extremely late and get about 5 to 6 hours of sleep. Sadly the obgyn has no answers or recommendations aside from drugs.
