Im volunteering at this wildlife rehabilitation center and im in charge of the nursery ( taking care of baby monkeys who need constant emotional support) and i now have internet 24/7 so im doing yoga in the cage with all the baby monkeys running around and its amazing

After my last comment about a month back I continued both yoga for IBS and yoga for bloated stomach, digestive disorder along with diet controls and medication prescribed by doctor qualified in Gastro entries . Now I can say that my IBS suffering has reduced by 10 %to 20%

Perhaps this is something we can do in the future though. Goodmorning Candace. I was hoping you could shed some light on an issue I've been facing. My psoas muscles have been a trouble area for me during my daily practice . What seems odd to me is that I can execute certain poses such as pigeon pose with very little to no discomfort, But In inverted poses such as baby pose for instance the psoas muscles tend to experience discomfort. Can you tell me why this is, and what I can do to correct it? Please and thank you. P.s. I recently finished your 30 day yoga class! Thanks for sharing. Hi Joseph, sorry for the delayed reply, it's difficult for me to pinpoint your issue without seeing your alignment, or knowing exactly what it is you're experiencing and where the pain is located. Do you feel a pinching sensation in the front of the hip? If so it could be due to too much hip extension, a common problem with runners, yogis, and dancers alike - due to excessive hip extension (when one leg is back further than the other) in poses like low lunge, splits, etc. Posture can also have a part to play in this issue if indeed that is what you have. You could try modifying poses like child's pose by raising the hips with a cushion between your legs and bum, I'd also recommend watching your daily standing posture (keep pelvis tucked and everything stacked in one straight line) and working on hip stabilising poses, for example, chair pose (squeezing a block between the knees and keeping tailbone tucked as you do so). So hope that helps you Joseph, but as I say it's a difficult one to pinpoint, as you may even have a trapped nerve or a tight spine which could be part of the issue. If you continue to feel discomfort or if the discomfort gets worse, I'd recommend seeking advice from someone who can take a look at your posture and potential causes of the pain. Hi, I would continue with yoga as a daily practice but see your doctor as you may have an underlying digestive issue that needs further help. Diet will most likely have a huge part to play, you can work with a nutritionist or use the elimination process to see what is setting your IBS symptoms off. I hope you find a way to reduce your daily symptoms. 🙏😊

Wow, incredible to pass gas! Is it also recommendable if you have diarrhea? I have been overeating and having gut problems since 10 days. First I thought it's a virus but yesterday it was almost okay, now this morning it's starting again. I have been to the doctor twice but he was optimistic. But I am starting to panic now that it's something worse. Your workout feels really good! Amazing, I was just wondering if it is okay to do it when having diarrhea, too or only bloating? Thanks!

@@YogaCandi hi, I must have had an infection or eaten something wrong and too much and too fast and since then I have had problems in the morning and eaten dietary food and stayed at home. Now my blood test results are super. I usually don't have problems like these. Bloating yes but I usually have like every 10 years a one time thing. Once everything came out I feel good again. This time I don't know why it's so intense. I was having nervousness too and anxiety because I desperately want to go to work again.

Hi, thanks for your question. It all depends on your individual body and needs - what works for one person may not for another. However, gentle compression, rocking, twists, circular motion, massage and stretching can help to release gas, therefore, relieving abdominal pain and it helps to get everything working as it should. Of course, diet is really important too - especially when it comes to IBS diet-related issues, working out what upsets your stomach can help massively with keeping discomfort at bay. No injury, I always have cramps and spasms. I have neck, spine and back pain for many years. I have a fibromyalgia.

This is good for lower abdomen bloating and discomfort. But if you also suffer from upper abdomen bloating, it is not enough. I suplement her twisting movements with seated twists.

Both men and women can suffer from these issues, diet can have a huge effect, but stress and many other facts have a part to play in bloating, ibs and other gut health issues.
