Thank you Adriene to remind us all the true essence of yoga. I started the session with the intension on working superficially on body part's but you gently reminded me why I do yoga... To connect my mind-body-soul, to show self-love and to gain energy. XO

What I really love about Adriene's videos is that she encourages us to eliminate toxic thought about body image. Yes we may be here to get a bigger bum or abs but she reminds us that it is not all about what our body looks like, but also the importance of being thankful for our bodies appreciating them for how they are. She also doesn't show off washboard abs or anything like some other fitness/yoga channels on here even though we can tell she had a beautiful slim healthy body. Instead she is encouraging to everyone despite our level of fitness or abilities. Thank you Adriene for your amazing yoga videos and for helping me feel better and more appreciative of my current body!

I really loved that she focused on how working on your core helps your posture and back instead of the superficial reason on making the torso smaller. I also found myself enjoying the squats. I went very slowly and with my breath. It felt a bit like a tai chi version of squats instead of torturing myself.

When I started this video, I was like, "wow this is so much easier than I thought it was going to be!" That's when I realized that for the past month every morning I have been getting up and doing the "Yoga for weight loss" program, and I am seeing a difference! This video was far less challenging, and I was able to keep my balance and breath without falling out! I feel my body growing stronger, and even though I felt the burn in my muscles, I was able to keep the poses without falling down! Thank you so much Adriene for posting these videos and doing this amazing work. I am growing so much as a yogi, and I feel the difference in my body!

Adriene, thank you for sticking out over the past year. I have been in an insecure state since covid. I have been worrying about my future, working at a job that I did not picture myself in, wanting my body to look sexy, over complicating my next meal, workout, worrying about how I look, etc. My anxiety has gone through the roo! My life is no where near what I want it to be. Today I really wanted to do a HIIT workout, instead I d allowed myself to feel, allowed my self to relax and realize it's ok to take it easy sometimes. I don't need to go to the gym everyday and lift heavy ass weights. All I need is my mat. I want to push myself further, believe in myself more. Your videos, your classes have helped me see hope. They have helped me achieved confidence, strength, flexibility, support, and most importantly self love. I have been on this yoga journey with you since 2018, I have felt a difference in my personality and outlook on life. I feel so loved everytime I roll out my mat; even on the days that feel like crap. I am tearing up as I write this, but the YWA community has helped through hardships, and I can't thank you enough. I have learned to be patient with my self and maybe one day I too will become a Yoga instructor. For now, I will continue on this journey and continue to learn. Gracias por todo y gracias por estar en mi vida loca. Con mucho amor y paz. - Sam from Dallas,TX ❤

This was a great practice for me. In the summer my yoga gets ignored somewhat as I bike & do outdoor things more. I've had osteoarthritis for decades but this last year I've have found I have stenosis in lower spine and some disk issues. Be so gentle with yourself. Have you heard of the "second arrow"? When we shame (or "should" or "shouldn't" ourselves) we add more suffering. Just hold space that you say those mean things, and bear witness to it, get curious and from that space it can be released. I wish you healing and peace 💫

To start I could barely finish, now I add things to work even harder, I’ve lost 15#’s, I’m wearing smaller sizes, I can breathe so much easier, sleep better, the list is never ending. SO... if you think you can’t do it, know that YES you can.

For personal reasons, needing a positive mind today, so as a senior yogi I approached this practice with a purpose, peddling through those few chaturangas and loosening up. So I matched your breath and each move Adriene and found my edge and quite easily made it through. I used the neck hammock to enjoy the oblique work at the end 😃👏. You worked your magic in the special way only you can, to help me feel satisfied. So I came off my mat really positive 🙏 see you tomorrow on the mat 🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♀️🙏💕

I’ve been doing core practices after my HOME journey to get my abs somewhere, and with that in mind, sometimes it’s easy to forget the right mindset. Those little moments beautifully remind me that even if I don’t do boats for 10 minutes, it’s fine. I still did a LOT of work. I did half an hour more yoga. And that requires a lot a commitment on my side. So I’m learning to be proud of myself for all of this. Those chair variations were not easy! But I did them. And most importantly, I showed up for myself. See you mañana!❤️🧘🏽♀️

DAY 20!!- MEDITATION MAY 2020 Adriene forever reminding us that you can take it slower and add ease even with a firecracker practise like that! This is what's it's all about! FIND WHAT FEELS GOOD could be the greatest mantra ever!! 🙏❤🧘♀️

Thank you Adriene for this video. I'm a fairly chubby dude and often have a lot of insecurities about my weight, fitness and feeling like my body isn't good enough especially in doing yoga. But you reminded me today that my body is enough and I'm enough. After this video I felt so at peace and content with my body, I can't wait to do more of your videos, a perfect start to my day

Doing this one in Canada, in December. It's cold enough out at -2 C, so this is warming me up nicely. Happy Holidays if you celebrate🎄

Yoga with Adriene, for me, is the only way to start my day. Thank you so much for being here for us. I have a visit with Adriene, every morning. So refreshing.

This class was really a killer! For the first time while doing yoga, I wanted to give up doing squats, but our lovely Adriene so strongly motivates that I continued till the time she did. You're my Guru. I love and respect you from my heart. As always, thank you for all you do. ❤️

My god, Adriene really is the best yoga instructor I've found online. This practice really got me though. I would be lying if I said I didn't look up "yoga for core and booty" for a self-conscious reason. I'm looking to target them because I want to have a tinier belly, and a more perky booty. I didn't look this practice out in an effort to support my body more, or energize myself for today. And it seemed like Adriene knew that most of us were coming from that place, and she knew it was important to create a safe space, and to give us space in the practice to focus on how we want to support and love our bodies rather than change them. I've been doing Yoga with Adriene for years now, and I don't think Ive ever found a yoga instructor that focuses not only so much on supporting and loving the body, but so much focus on the love of the inner body, the inner self. I always leave her practices feeling emotionally held. Wow.

When I first started yoga I really struggled connecting my breath to each movement and didn't see a point to it. Now that I've started watching your videos I find it simple and it makes a world of difference! Thank you:)

After more than six months now of committing to almost daily practice thanks to you, dear Adriene, I feel so happy, humbly proud to be able to do some movements I wouldn’t have thought I’d master so soon... this practice was both soft and intense. I really thank you for that. And salutations to all the members of this wonderful community you gather around your work! Namaste 🙏

It seems so weird to me that you get any down votes. Thanks for all the yoga practices. I appreciate your approach very much.

Really wasn't looking forward to this today from the title, but so glad I did it - love that even on these area specific ones Adrienne is there to keep things positive & in perspective about the whys of yoga 💕 much needed reminder here anyway... & that squat sequence was lush!

I love how you start with breathing and slow movements and sprinkle positives words throughout. The workout feels easier somehow xx

I’ve been doing your Yoga every week since the pandemic (sometimes I forgot to do it though) but it has really taught me to be gentle with my body and I’ve begun to see myself in a different light. My body does so much for me and deserves love, so connecting with my mind and soul and being gentle with it is very important. My self-love levels are at an all time HIGH. ❤️

I have been making sure that i get at least 15 minutes of yoga everyday for almost 2 months now and i am in love with it now. Not a day goes by where i don't feel like doing yoga! I even improvised with a bunch of books for blocks :D

The ballet dancer in me fangirled when you mentioned pliés! I hardly feel sore from booty workouts, but I can tell I'm going to be sore tomorrow! Thank you Adriene, this was such a fun practice, added it to my list of favorites x

Adriene is the best! She articulately moves you through any practice explaining in a calm voice. I find her videos not only relaxing but invigorating - and yes connecting mind, soul and body to start my day. Thanks, Adriene!

I love Yoga with Adriene! I used to do daily yoga then when I began doing more strenuous workouts, I sort of stopped my yoga practice. Now I'm finding a really great balance with the two. I've gained so much strength in the last 2 months and I'm slowly developing more confidence as well. This video was great and it just flew by! Now I'm jumping into a 20 minute Chloe Ting workout! then mayne another more chill yoga flow to stretch afterwards. I'm the most fit I've ever been and I've done it totally for free and from home with the help of these amazing youtube channels! Namaste❤
