Relax back into this yoga nidra practice specifically designed to support those with chronic fatigue syndrome or CFS. Yoga nidra is a guided meditative practice that utilizes systematic relaxation techniques to bring you into the deepest light altered states of consciousness and brainwave states that occur during biological sleep, only with a sense of wakeful awareness still present. In these deep brainwave states the body relaxes and the parasympathetic division of the nervous system, rest and digest, is activated. Here, the body undergoes deep regenerative rest and healing. Studies have shown that the deep rest that comes in the state of yoga nidra can allow the body to heal itself faster. The practice of yoga nidra also allows the practitioner to release tension from the body by bringing mindful awareness throughout the body to instill a deep sense of inner calm and relaxation. Yoga nidra is also supportive in relieving some of the underlying symptoms of stress and chronic fatigue, exhaustion or burnout.
In this practice, explore sensing opposite sensations in the body to discover a deep sense of balance and inner calm. Emerge feeling rested, grounded, at ease, and with a deep sense of relief throughout all of the layers of the Self.

@@KristynRoseYoga So glad to know that you will have more voice only videos. I would appreciate the sleep video to be voice only, as my auditory processing tends to interfere with comprehension, when other sounds are present in a video.

Thank you! For me it’s so much more relaxing just to listen to your calming voice. With ME/CFS I find any additional music or sounds too stimulating and overwhelming.

I'm excited to try this out because I actually could not handle the other one due to the background sound. I really like your long videos and find your typical music choices very soothing. I have long covid and yoga nidra actually still has borderline too much talking. I prefer just minimal guidance and focus on breath. Sensory overload and brain overwhelm are no joke! As i recover i have been enjoying your longer recordings daily. Have to balance with empty brain time but it often helps me rest when my mind is wild. Thanks for putting these out!

Dearest Kristyn, today’s start was particularly bad with the symptoms of CFS. This latest episode was triggered last year after receiving a difficult diagnosis of cancer which sent me spiralling emotionally., the physical symptoms have been horrendous. Your gentle supportive approach has truly helped me this morning and so many days as I navigate this journey back towards wellness, I am forever grateful for you and the YN community of support and gentle holding of emotional spaces that helps to alleviate physical symptoms. Thank you for this practice. I really enjoyed that It was voice only. I was hesitant to invite fatigue, or rigidity into the body, but after the full practice, I was much less afraid to do so, and benefited from the holistic experience. Thank you for making and sharing this.

Beautiful reflection. When we can experience both opposing sensations simultaneously, it allows us to activate both hemispheres of the brain and rest back into a place of equanimity. With time and practice, this can help relieve the intensity of a particular feeling tone of emotion by sensing its opposite at the same time and creating new neural pathways. Thank you Kristyn ❤🙏 EYTT 200hr Instead of resisting fatigue, I allowed it in, felt it and in doing so I feel less tired. The breathing at the end helped me feel more refreshed. ❤

I personally love the original and the sound of the chimes.🥰 I generally seek out yoga Nidras that have either chimes or singing bowls That was very kind of you though to make another one with voice only for the ones that requested it.
